Selection Service Deals Pet friendly Please wan to stay a while It's too much to take in, lots of good finds!!

We spotted this place on our way to the Tango garden. It's literally half a block away. If you like yard décor You could spend hours in here and still not see it all. It's packed inside and out with all kinds of Yard decorations. Statues, Sign, windspinners, Things for your birds; bird feeders, bird water, Wind chimes. I assume a lot comes from Mexico. Anyway, it was cool to look around. They have several rescue dogs in there and one cat. So if you're going to the Botanical garden, definitely stop in there and take a look.

My dog broke the top of my birdbath. I went in they didn't try to sell me anything that I didn't need although they were kind and respectful of my needs....a great experience

    The amazing, welcoming front entrance!

Gringo Jones is a hidden gem in St Louis! We are from Chicago and we visit every time we are in town. I absolutely love the selection of pottery in this unique shop. My children, on the other hand, like the staff and love the dogs and always bring treats for them. The dogs are well behaved and sweet. My little guy (6 yrs old) is very timid and shy and scared of his own shadow but these dogs and great staff have won him over. The previous time we visited (November) the kind salesman gave my son a matchbox car... he has never forgotten that. If you are in the area this is a place you must experience to believe. It's fun and a great place to find a unique gift for someone!

This place is fantastic! We dropped by for a visit and were greatly impressed by the vast array of decorative items available. As a plus, the staff is most friendly and helpful, and-great dogs! Drop by, but be forewarned-you will probably buy something. And you'll be glad that you did.

    Hello Gringo!!!!

Not I. I bought a new sofa at Ikea late last year. For a small fee (under $40), it was delivered. The restaurant on the third floor was a must-visit, but now food is pricier (everywhere, not just here). Still, maybe it's worthwhile for an old-time experience of sitting sit in a department store eating a warm meal in front of those big windows with views of Midtown and other areas of the city. Room for improvement: I think the store should open a little earlier than 11 a.m. on Sundays.

To our surprise, the opening time has changed to 11 AM. We left and came back at 11. Both of us always enjoy the displays that show you what you can do with specific amounts of square footage. The merchandising team at IKEA are so creative, they make use of every bit of space in their examples. IKEA is a huge store, but you can't get lost. All you gotta do is follow the arrows painted on the floor. They're there from start to finish. They'll lead you through; furniture, accessories, housewares, plants and more. When the arrows lead us through the frames and artwork, we got a giggle that they had copies of the Mona Lisa and Starry Night. My favorite area is the housewares, I can always find something that I need in my kitchen. However, on this visit I found a coat tree for my front foyer in the accent furniture area. It's going to be nice to have something to hand my coat on instead of throwing it on the chair. If you need assistance there's always an associate working nearby. As I shopped, I did notice the prices weren't as low as they use to be, but that is the case almost everywhere. However, it's still a good value.

Chris and his team came for a free design consult and to inventory what I already had, looked at photos of past Christmases, and asked all the right questions to see what is was we wanted for our new look. I wanted something new, but was hoping to use mostly what we already had. He took my ideas and put together a beautiful plan and set a timeline for completion. To my surprise, Chris was able to get started within a week, and even completed the job while we were out of town. We felt completely comfortable having his team in our home unsupervised. They were efficient and cleaned up afterwards. We came home from our trip to a Christmas wonderland that went beyond all our expectations! We couldn't believe the majority of the pieces were things we already had; and was able to reimagine things I had considered "unusable". He even created a theme piece for my ill husband, which brought tears to his eyes, because the piece was so expertly created. I would describe Chris's style as "Elegance with an Edge". He is able to see the potential where it seems there is none and turns it into a thing of beauty. He stayed within budget, and I had no qualms about his team being in my house. I am definitely using his services again next year, and will have him come back to design some interior spaces in our home.

I took a chance and went with Haus Interiors on a recommendation from a friend, and I'm SO glad I did! Chris came by (for free even) to see what I had and what I wanted done, and gave me the option of a whole job price or by the hour. Both worked out to be about the same. Since he mostly used what I already had, I went with the hourly rate. He was able to mostly take the decorations I had and turn them into something I would've never guessed they could be! The whole process was really fast, and the actual work was done in a day. I work from home, and after he arrived (on time, to my surprise!), I left him to do his work. I came out of my office later that afternoon and was astonished at what he was able to do! He had turned my existing "meh - nice try" decor into what I would describe as "classical elegance". Totally worth it, and would definitely use him again. It's taken a lot of holiday stress off of me where I can concentrate on other things.
