This location is located on the second floor of 2nd and PCH. There's free 2 hour parking along the side on Marina Dr or there's a parking garage. They have shoes available for rental. This locations is really nice and clean. They have cubbies or lockers you can leave your stuff. There's a restroom and water refill station as well. I joined in for Danielle's morning class. She was suuuuuper high energy and kept the class pumped. She was motivating as well. I haven't cycled in a while so it was a bit hard for me to keep up since she kept it really fast paced. They didn't have the fan or AC in majority of the class so I was sweating and also felt light headed. They turned the fan on in the middle of the class for maybe 5 minutes, but I feel like they need to keep it on for the whole time! I'm prone to fainting so I was scared I'd pass out. Aside from the heat, it was a good class and left me energized.

Been meaning to write a review. The instructors I've had are AMAZING. But what made me want to write a review today was I actually was scheduled for a 7 AM class and when I walked out of my house at 6:50 I saw that my car window was broken and all my belongings were just thrown out onto the street. I called grit cycle and I explained to them the situation and Sophia was amazing. She canceled my booking right away with no fees or anything and I was able to get that credit back. Honestly, because I was past the cancellation time they could've been jerks and been like sorry can't do anything, but the fact that they prioritized good customer service over profit, made me a lifelong customer.

I came by on a Saturday to check out the Studio (is that what you call this?) It looked up to par, friendly staff and clean.... They told me I can sign up online for my first comp session which I did.... My past experience trying it once at a bigger gym in Long Beach.....doing 30 min popup at a 24 hour nearby where the instructor is great but the bikes are in terrible condition and the room isn't exciting but it's the instructor that counts!!! Today (Tuesday) I had this awesome instructor Lindsey though she wasn't at the podium for this session (there were 2 other gals...forgot their names)..... Lindsey kept you pumped and in the session the whole time though... I was a bit out of sync but I figured give me a little time I can get used to things.....so for first timers after you can book 3 sessions for $45 must be used in 30 days....but I got a special sign up deal for unlimited for 2 weeks for $69.99 and I just booked that instead..... That means I'll be back....and VERY SOON... BTW shoe rental is $2.00 (Free for the first session though)..... Thanks GritCycle Team and look forward to seeing you again soon!

Absolutely love this place amazing experience love the vibe and motivation that is given from the instructors here.

This has been my 5th Class and I can't emphasize how much I love these classes! The energy and just everything about them. Every instructor has their shine and their motivation for each class. The mucus selection is great to get you pumped to give it your all. There have been some classes where I'm in tears of the motivation and the fact that we can do anything we set our mind too, because you can! On my way to buy another bundle cause this is part of me even though I have a peloton at home ha!

I love GritCycle so much I've been offered free classes at local studios and I refuse to try them. I feel like this is my home and part of my weekly routine. Danielle is my go to instructor the way you feel after class is comparable to a really good therapy session. You always feel so good after one of her classes. Lindsey gets the party started having her call out your name makes you cycle even harder. You will be dripping sweat after any class, I normally burn over 500 calories in 45 minutes. I'm pretty sure your first class is free, your first shoe rental is free. Try it this is a good addiction

I've been very much into indoor cycling group workouts. I love the music, the hypeness, the bikes, and just the overall vibe. When I came across Gritcycle I was excited to check them out. They offer one complimentary class which I used. The booking process is easy and is pretty much the same as other fitness businesses these days. When I arrived, I was greeted by the staff and was given instructions and a pair of shoes. Since this was my first time, the shoes were free but are normally $2 to rent. They offer both locked lockers or unlocked cubbies. The bathroom is a regular bathroom offering tampons, hair ties, spray deorderant, dry shampoo. The usual items you see at most fitness spots. I always enjoy the little things like this. Ok, so now, the actual workout. Well, let me talk about the layout of the bikes which I wasn't a fan of. Of course, I was in a bike not facing the front which totally threw me off and made me uncomfortable. I'm not used to cycling not facing the front. Ugh! When you book the bike, it's not really clear what direction its facing. The instructor, Leilani was great and all, but she wasn't riding with us. There were two guys at the front riding and demonstrating, but I feel that I lost the connection with the instructor and then lost the vibe. That was new for me, usually instructors are riding and may come off the bike for a sec then hop right back on. There was definitely a disconnect for me. Now, the bike, I was on bike #5. While cycling, I noticed both shoes would slide side to side while locked to the pedal. I'm not sure if that's how their bikes are designed. But I didn't like that, I didn't feel secure and would get nervous. Also, the top part of the bike where the handles are kept getting unloose. I would have to turn the knob to tighten it during my ride. This happened at least three times. So when we would have to ride up then lower down, the handles would pull back with me. So not only was there a disconnect for me with the instructor, but with the workout and the class itself. I couldn't get my rhythm down or a good flow because the bike was just not it. Super frustrating. I did voice my frustration about the bike with one of the girls who was working there. She apologized and said they'll look into it. Comparing my experiences with Soul Cycle, Sweat Cycle, and Cycle Bar, Grit Cycle is last on my list.

I personally can't get enough of the Hot Yoga with Sandi! * The amenities are plentiful with towels, hairdryers, lockers and plenty of spaces throughout with everything we need. * The service is great. My only complaints about Club Studio are…read morewhen they build gyms without a pool or jacuzzi (such as this one in Long Beach) and they don't have any designations for beginner or advanced levels in their classes. It would be really helpful if you weren't confronted as a yoga newbie with instructors trying to get you to do hand stands or the very challenging moves and weight lifts in the Pilates x Strength class. I think they need to give info to the members about difficulty ahead of time or section off some classes as beginner, etc. I belong to another Club Studio in a different city as well, so I'd have to say the staff at the front desk at this club can be a little unfriendly and inattentive compared to the other club. But I love most of the yoga teachers at this Club Studio, and I really think they made great choices in hiring Sandi, Kelly, Karen, and Jason. They all have great personalities and try to make the classes accessible for people with injuries or special problems . But if you're a senior with a lot of physical problems, this club is probably not for you. The emphasis is definitely on the youthful customer here, and I hope I can keep up with the classes for as long as I'm physically able before I have to go somewhere else less challenging.
