I had exercise equipment in the attic (lat machine, leverage benches, NordicTrack non-motor treadmills) and they took them apart as needed and hauled them out, as well as a lot of weight plates; they took four Jeep tires out of the basement. They also took a ton of miscellaneous household stuff out of my house and out of our neighbor's basement. Justin is a very nice guy, a and a fair, consummately professional business owner. He arrived within 90 minutes of calling to leave a 20 yard dumpster, complete with ladder and side door for putting in heavy objects that aren't easily thrown over the sides. It was a relatively new, clean dumpster too. And he put that dumpster precisely where we wanted it - we asked him to move it back 5 feet, he did exactly that. Price is eminently fair - $500 for the 20 yard, $300 for a 10 yard. Weight limits on both are very fair as well. Justin communicates by phone, text, email, and even Yelp messaging! I can't comment on his labor services given that we just rented a dumpster, but I can only imagine the service would be excellent as well. read more

It is rare to have very good customer service these days. I contacted Junk Pros a few times with various questions as it was my first time ordering a dumpster. They were patient, friendly, responsive and accurate in their information. I also found their pricing totally competitive. I would suggest to customers who want to rent to know what they are throwing away. I would have gone for a larger dumpster with greater tonnage. Easy to schedule. The guys who showed up were punctual and did a great job removing heavy items and loading up the truck. Unfortunately, after they left, the front door would not lock properly. When contacted, Stamford Junk Pros denied responsibility for the problem. A locksmith came out to the home and examined the door. He stated that it had been knocked out of alignment with the door frame, and showed us the place where the frame had been dented. He asked if any thing large had been moved from inside of the house out through that door recently. We told him that furniture and appliances had. The locksmith confirmed that that would do it.  He was able to readjust the frame and correct the damage, so that the door closed and locked again. (No one else had moved anything large out the door before the Stamford Junk Pros team came.)  It cost over $160 for the locksmith just to make the trip out to the home. We asked Stamford Junk Pros to help out and reimburse this cost. It would not have been necessary if the team hadn't damaged the door and door frame. Readjusting the door frame and correcting the problem cost a few hundred more (not to mention taking time of from work to wait for the locksmith and be present while he examined and fixed the door). In addition, we asked Stamford Junk Pros to undo the damage to the screen door, which no longer automatically swings shut. During our phone conversation shortly afterward, the employee leading the team that day acknowledged that they had removed a pin or somehow altered the screen door. Again, aside from these incidents, the Stamford Junk Pros team was very punctual and completed the job quickly. My family really would like to be able to recommend the company to other friends and family when they need this service, but don't want them to have a similar experience with expensive damage. read more
