I was looking for something to wear for a photo shoot we were having done and picked out a few…read moredresses. The woman was nice and prices were decent. I decided not to take the photos and wanted to return a couple things I had bought. She said it had to be store credit and I let her know I wasn't made aware of that policy. She pointed to a sign and didn't say anything. The return policy said it had to be within 14 days and tags still attached and that it was store credit only. Not only that, but the credit is good for 1 year. That's absurd. We are from out of town and come every summer. Store credit shouldn't have an expiration date. If you want to make a return policy THAT extreme, that's your prerogative. But at least have the decency to make sure your customers are aware before making a purchase. Clothes are nice but I wouldn't recommend simply because of this. I wish someone had warned me.

This Roses for me, is the store of stores! Prices are reasonable for a wide variety of quality…read moregoods. Whether you are on a trip out further up the east coast, to the Outer Banks or heading south back to the mainland this Roses has what you would need. I travel back and forth this way quite a bit and found this quaint store when I missed a box store I was headed for. I found everything I needed and more in this location. Outfitting a vacation home? Need a gift? Shoes? Shirts? Pet food? A microwave? Other small appliances? Then I head to Roses. I have found this store to be a reliable source for quality goods that I would easily pay twice as much for at a big box store. I don't know how they do it. If I have a small restoration job I can find the small appliances here and other accent items that really put the finishing touch on any job I do. As for the staff and management they are a dream to work with. They answer questions and are quite pleasant. At the last visit I had I was greeted by every single employee in the place! What a pleasant day they gave me. There is a large parking lot, clean restrooms and so much on the shelves and down every aisle. Roses for me!
