So glad to have some competition for the "big conglomerate" grocery stores here in Tillamook. Good prices and good customer service!

We stopped by here twice to pick up the fixing for root beer floats and of course browsed around. The prices are reasonable and it's big enough that the ambience is pleasant - you've got space to move around even if it's crowded. They play country music over the speakers. Staff are happy to help.

Thats like a Nugget Grocery store, Target, Best Buy, and a Khols all wrapped into one and it also has a jewelry store that place is insane! Wish We had one of those back home. They had a nice seafood, bakery and deli spot. The service was good the person at the electronics section asked me if I needed some help. The whole place was just chill with the lights not too bright. They had lots of things on sale. They had a spot where they had Levis, dickies and Carnhart. Sucks for them that I dont wear dickies or carnhart. I'm from Northern Cali I stay in nothing but Ben Davis and Levis but they didnt have the size Levis in the color I wanted. Hands down this place is dope af!! But its hella far from home and 2 hours away from where I'm staying out here in Oregon.

As a self proclaimed clam chowder connoisseur I take the hunt for delicious clam chowder throughout…read morethe PNW coastal area very seriously. Each beach town my husband I travel to, I spend far too much time reading reviews about clam chowder. If only I spent as much energy in other areas of my life as I do "internet-researching" clam chowder, who knows what I could accomplish. I must say that the clam chowder at Werner Beef & Brew is exactly what I have been hunting for. It is the perfect texture and consistency. It has a spectacular balance of clam to potato ratio, and the potatoes are cooked to perfection. They don't have too much bite, nor do they disintegrate into mush the moment they enter your mouth. The chowder itself was worth traveling from Rockaway to Tillamook for. It was even worth a more industrial view vs. an establishment with a more coastal and picturesque backdrop. The salad bar was on point. The variety of salad add-ins, dressings, and topping crunchy-bits were epic. It was a nice balance to the very rich perfect chowder I am already missing. I miss it. I miss the chowder. My husband also got the fish tacos, based on others' reviews and enjoyed every bite. I enjoyed their Dragon Fruit Cider, and he ordered one of their Meaty Bloody Mary's. If you are on the fence if you should order one, you should. You should get that bloody mary. The bloody mary then led us to purchase some of their salami and bologna. It was an elevated version of the sandwich meat my grandpa used with white bread, yellow mustard (off-brand), ice burg lettuce, and a slice of cheddar cheese. Mid-life has me craving nostalgia. It might be the hormone imbalance, but salami white bread sandwiches, here I come.

We were last here four years ago. It hasn't changed much and that's a good thing. Last time, we…read morewere unable to go into the candy store - this time, we did get to go inside and peruse the collection of candy, vintage and branded (ie. related to a TV show). Some stuffed animals as well and some hair clips and whatnot. You can also purchase food in there to feed the animals outside (I'm sure it is not the only place to purchase food but that's where we got it this time). Inside the main building are many different kinds of high end gifts, kitchen items, wine, and food, as well as a cafe and ice cream. Outside are the animals (who tbh can really live without the food lol - they are fairly lacksadaisical about it!); and the area where Harvest Host folks park. The friendliest animals are the goats.

What a fabulously wonderful, relaxing restaurant / garden / petting zoo and gift-shop. The grounds are abound with potted plants and flowers. I entered what can best be described as a large, deli-gift-shop. Ordering takes place at the deli counter, a number is given, and food is delivered to your table. There is a fountain area, a coffee bar and a refrigerated cooler for drinks. The wine section is expansive and beautifully displayed. I can't speak to the quality, as I didn't partake in adult beverages. The shop is comprehensive with loads of deli-like merchandise, boutique items and souvenirs. They offer a lot of hand-crafted and locally-made fare, which is my preference. The food was outstanding! I order the cheese charcuterie with salami and my husband ordered the Blue Heron Classic. What a delight, and with plenty of left-overs. It was such a gorgeous day I visited the Candy Shop for an ice cream cone (Tillamook, of course) and walked the grounds for peacock viewing. The Blue Heron has picnic tables outside, so I sat and enjoyed the sun for a while. It was an ideal escape!

The younger girls are nice enough and knowledgeable about the area. Their selection of stuff is good but check expiration dates. Had to return two things and the onion I got was rotten on the inside. Kelly Bayne: Very poor customer service and this last year…read moreout of our 15 years has been the most unfriendly store I've ever encountered. On top of accusing my son after his short visit, went in to buy two bags if ice for 4.50, gave the employee a 20. Bill , she didn't look at the bill nor finish the transaction before putting in her till. She took it as a 5. bill. After 3 or 4 times politely correcting her , she refused to realize she was wrong. Customer service and counting change is a basic common sense practice and a courtesy to the patrons. They wanted to wait until midnight to do their books and mail him his change. I'm sorry I wouldn't have agreed to that especially if I knew for certain what bill I handed over. Yes, my son was upset and demanded the correction. It was all on camera, it took two police officers, which my son was happy to stay while they called. After reviewing it did show he gave the 20, not a 5. Before all of that the employee accused him "you must do this a lot". Wow... The customer is always right..... I hope she's being re-trained or better yet let go. She obviously dosent like her job. It's the " owners" responsibility to have friendly customer service. It would not have cost the store anything if the employee did her job, we'll never set foot there, now that cost them..... There are a lot if nice little stores in the area and friendly when you walk in.
