Giving a 2 star because the sod they used is great but as far as the rest of the process, it was like pulling teeth to get anyone here to communicate or follow up! Wish i wasn't pressured into getting top soil because it hasn't helped the seeding of the backyard at all which was "guaranteed to work" if i went with the top soil! read more

We used Groen Landscaping for our backyard project and absolutely loved the result. Then, one of our neighbors used them for their Christmas lighting and we were impressed. So, we contacted Groen to put lights up for us and within a few days the lights were up and look amazing! We will definitely use them again. read more

Groen Landscaping came out in August 2018, took out an old brick BBQ which was on concrete slabs, took out old swimming pool stones and pipes and filled in hole left from pool and covered entire area with grass. They also removed all stone, blocks, tree and plants from side of driveway in front of home, and filled with grass. Their workers were very pleasant, attentive, and professional. They completed all work in a timely manner! Grass seed came in a little sparce, but, we are very happy with the final results. Price paid excellent for amount of work done! Would highly recommend them, and call on them again! read more

This review is late in coming...this past August we had a last minute project with only 2 weeks to complete before hosting a family reunion at our home. Chad and his team not only completed the job on time but they did an amazing job! The entire crew was very accommodating and Chad was very easy to work with when it came to last minute changes. I used Groen for landscape lighting on the front and back of my house and to keep it short they did not disappoint. The lighting has made the house look bigger and brighter. Beyond disappointed with this lousy landscaping company. Had some work done last season. Their "landscape expert" came out, did a walk through, and we seemed to be on the same page for our vision of removing old shrubbery/mulch, removing an old light system, and replacing with new mulch, a small tree, and lots of colorful plants. We were told we would get some drawings with specifics on the plant selection and positions. A week or two later, I received a phone call 2 minutes before their closing time, which I unfortunately missed, they left a VM letting me know our project would be done first thing next morning. I called back to verify plans, but they were gone. I was excited to get going on the project, so figured we would just move forward. I arrived home from work the next day to find a bunch of brown coral bells and green grasses. ZERO color. They had planted a crooked tree with it's top soil 2 inches above the ground, it was barely in there. The plants were scattered completely at random, some on top of each other, and some too far apart. There was mulch everywhere, and they did not remove the lighting system. I reached the "landscape expert" who smugly told me they weren't done with the job yet (BS). Still giving benefit of the doubt, they came back a few days later, planted 2 scrawny white hydrangea (NO COLOR) and that was it. They had to send some young kid out to replant the tree 2 weeks later. This season, the tree has dead limbs, 6/10 grasses that were planted did not return despite proper care, and THREE phone calls fielded by the receptionist to discuss the dead shrubbery not returned by anyone. This was not an inexpensive job, and the poor quality of the work makes me feel taken advantage of, and the rubbish customer service lets me know that they DO NOT CARE. FIND ANYONE ELSE TO DO YOUR JOB. read more
