Beginning with the initial meeting to walk through the scope of the project was extremely thorough and detailed. Joseph patiently explained the process and time table of the move. Shortly after the walk through I received a detailed fixed quote that was very fair. I had already spent weeks researching moving companies and their process and did not like what I heard. I was told since I did not have a full house move my items would share a truck with other households and that my items could be transfered to another truck along the route. The potential for lost items, damage and extended deadlines was highly likely from customer reviews. When Joseph explained that the Strong Brothers Moving process was to personally pack all items, load the truck, make the drive and unload at the final destination I knew I found a company I could trust to take care of the move. Joseph and Andrew took such great care wraping the furniture in protective blankets, carefully packing boxes of generations of family china and crystal that all arived in perfect condition. Additionally they carefully protected a very large collection of artwork that also arrived without a scratch. The morning of the delivery Christian and David arrived early (fine with that!) and introduced themselves and began laying down heavy duty rugs at the garage and front door entrance into the house. David was obviously the foreman and he and Christian worked well together. Very patient and kind with each other especially as they worked the larger items into the house and set them up. They asked for my input throughout the morning on where to place things. They provided an efficient unloading process. The only thing amiss was they couldn't locate my queen bed frame. That was no issue because Nacho delivered a replacement and set up the bed for me. Nacho has been in business for many, many years and I learned that he genuinely enjoys what he does. He wrapped things I told him not to and not just wrapped them but blankets, bands and plastic wrap. When I asked him about it when he walked by me with 5 things that I had told him didn't need to be wrapped, (because it was taking WAY longer than it should) he told me he needed to protect his shins!!! He also claimed that the move was 100 feet from door to truck (not 50 ft as I had told them). Images show how close it was. When I spoke to the office manager after the move and told her how unhappy I was with how this move was handled, she informed me that the person who did the move was the owner and her husband and that he FORBID her to give me any kind of discount. I'd recommend looking at other movers who are in the area, because you have zero recourse with this company and they don't stand behind their work or follow your instructions.

We worked with Adrian Lopez, the owner, who was polite, friendly and had good workers; nice family owned local business. They wrapped all our furniture in blankets and plastic wrap and packed it all efficiently and safely into their van. They also gave us free boxes/packing material, and packed a few frames and clothes that we couldn't pack, the day of the move. What was really nice was that only our things were in their van and they got it to Houston in 2 days, whereas national companies were quoting us 8-10 days. Only downsides were that they came for pick-up and delivery 1-2 hours after the decided time, and that we initially did not hear from the company for 1-2 days after leaving a voicemail. Once we got in contact though, Adrian was very responsive via phone, email and text.
