Furthermore, if you simply check these things when customers make the appointment rather than waiting until they drive all the way there to say you feel there is an issue (especially when there wasnt) to turn them away rather than simply letting them have time to provide whatever documentation is needed then you wouldn't have list a customer. Nobody mentioned this to me and she doesn't really play much with other dogs so I doubt it came from a scuffle. Lastly, I brought her 4 bags for breakfast, 4 bags for dinner, 4 bags with one Greenie in each one to be given with/after dinner and 4 bags with a few treats in each bag which they said they would give her at bedtime.They gave me back 2 bags of the treats and 3 bags with the one Greenie in them. There were no extra bags of anything. If they can't feed them correctly, with the separation and labeling of everything, it makes me really question what sort of care did she have while she was in their facility.

I made an appointment for my two goldens months in advance knowing my pregnancy due date and baby on the way and wanted them fresh before her arrival. I always happily pay extra during services for them to not be kenneled as they are little chickens and get stressed in a kennel. Spawology cancelled on me twice via text message, never bothered to call as a business owner a never seemed very apologetic. Cancelled on me twice and then told me my goldens were difficult. I had to call myself To get them rescheduled after the first cancellation, because The business never followed up with me. I Do not recommend this business due to lack of communication, zero professionalism, and adaptability especially if you're in a time crunch. They do Not seem to be able to handle dogs with any special grooming needs, tho their website will portray that they do. You would think after cancelling on me the previous week for a Different reason, maybe he would share the love and cancel another appointment in order to accommodate, especially as I was very understanding the first cancellation. Getting an appointment was never easy and then front desk staff was typically quite rude. There were numerous communication breakdowns involving this rude desk staff. The most memorable of these was when a vet told me to come in for a follow up of some sort and put me on her schedule for a quick visit between patients. I checked in at the desk for this visit, they told me to sit down, and I waited there with my dog for what seemed like forever. When I was the only one left in the waiting room, a tech came to the desk and asked the receptionist who I was there to see. She said right in front of me, "I have no idea what she's doing here or who she is." I explained it to the tech and was eventually seen. My dog started having some issues with waking in the middle of the night with what seemed like pain or anxiety. Dr. Garms dismissed this as him being old and having canine dementia. Thank God I took him to another vet practice. The vet immediately suspected an adrenal tumor simply by palpating his abdomen. This was confirmed by an ultrasound. We were able to manage his symptoms for another year or so. Why am I leaving this review now? This greedy practice has for some reason started emailing me repeatedly with my dear deceased dog's name in the subject line. I haven't been to this place in 6 years. I've tried to unsubscribe but to no avail. I don't recommend this place.

A HUGE shout out to Dr. Garms and this practice…read more My Schnoodle has been a patient of Dr. Garms since 2017. She is, by far, the most compassionate veterinarian I have ever known. Recently Morgan's appetite diminished and he would not eat his favorite fruits, veggies and kibble. After he stopped eating all together, about 8 days ago, I tried feeding him chicken and rice. Initially, he loved it but stopped eating this. Last Saturday, 7/8/23, I called and left a message. Dr. Garms called and suggested a few things of which I tried, Morgan was still not eating much. I called on the following Monday, Dr. Garms was off and Sabrina suggested baby food and since they were booked on Tuesday, she asked that I drop Morgan off on Tuesday morning for observation and lab work. I picked him up Tuesday evening and was asked to bring him back Wednesday morning and plan on leaving him and going over his blood work results. Tuesday evening he still did not eat anything and sipped a little water. When I returned on Wednesday with Morgan, Dr. Garms entered and I knew immediately that the news was not going to be good. Morgan was in both renal and liver failure and his numbers were so far off the scale, there was not much that they could do other than palliative treatment. I looked at his listless body and made that dreaded decision to euthanize him. Since friends had shared their recommendations for in-home euthanizing I contacted 2 of these vets and neither had anything available that day or the next. I did not want Morgan to pass away on a metal table or in a strange environment, Dr. Garms offered to come to my home that evening around 7. The process, of course, was difficult for the both of us (we were both crying when he slipped away) she was incredible, comforting me. She took his body back to her practice and indicated that she will take care of everything including arranging for his ashes to be returned to me. Dr. Garms is not only a very capable clinician, she is the most compassionate vet I have known.

PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE GOING HERE…read more Our dog Jordan was severely attacked at daycare here and required emergency surgery. She had 14 wounds requiring staples, and several of them needed drains. There was severe muscle tissue damage, and the vet bills were nearly 3K. Laura claimed that the attack was stopped immediately, but the damage resembled that from a prolonged attack. She did nothing to seek out medical care for our dog, and only left us a voicemail stating that Jordan had been in a "little tiff" with another dog. Once we got Jordan home, it was obvious that this had not been a little tiff, and that she needed care immediately. She could barely walk and had wounds all over her body. Laura repeatedly tried to downplay the seriousness of the situation, refusing to call it an itattack, and stating that sometimes dogs get too excited and nip at one another. This clearly wasn't the case here. Jordan, nearly 11, has never hurt fly, so not only did she not provoke the attack, but the damage was extensive and more than just the result of few nips. The vet seemed shocked by the amount of damage done. Jordan remained under their care for 24 hours, several of which she was in surgery. I could go on and on about the pitiful response to this situation by Laura, but I'll let the picture speak for itself. I would never risk putting my dogs lives in Laura's hands again. I understand that sometimes things happen with dogs, but this was extreme, and Laura handled it terribly to say the least. Please don't make the same mistake we did. Go somewhere else. Edit: I will say that we were eventually reimbursed, but not by Laura. We were reimbursed by the other dogs owner, and only because we filed a report with animal control and they pressed charges. I still have the voicemail Laura left my wife after the attack. There's nothing serious about it. I'll share it with anyone who doubts my review. Jordan has healed physically at this point, but she is incredibly anxious around other dogs now. She probably always will be. If my wife thought Jordan was fine initially, it's because you told her there were two bite marks, and she had her hands full picking up three dogs at once, so she couldn't verify your claim until she got home. There were 14 bite marks requiring staples. More if you counted the minor ones. If you had given Jordan more than a few seconds of attention following the attack, you would have known it was more than two. You should also avoid using quotation marks so carelessly when I doubt you remember my wife's exact words. If she thought Jordan was ok, it was only because she took your word for it. I'm certain that your voicemail, which is an actual recording, is more accurate than your memory. I understand that you have a business to maintain, but this might not be the best situation for you to be arguing about .
