Super cute stuff. I didn't read the reviews either and wish I would have. While waiting for food we decided to walk over to this store because we see such cute things in the window. As we were looking at jewelry the girl in the yellow dress immediately began watching/following us. I wanted to believe it wasn't happening as this is a first for me; however, it in fact was. We still bought a few items but wish I would've taken my money elsewhere. I'm a little disappointed that my teen daughter had to experience this. The girl at the register was extremely nice and I wish employees wouldn't assume that someone is going to steal based on their looks. I get that it's a small store and no company wants to lose revenue but following customers and assuming is not a good look and makes for an uncomfortable shopping experience. read more

Such an amazing store! There were 3-4 employees working and all were very helpful and sweet. I tried a few items on and bought some jewelry and sneakers. The clothes were super cute- The jewelry and accessories were perfect. I got a number of gifts for my daughter. I want to especially point out the young blonde who was working on the fitting room area-she was kind and helpful- Thank you-can't wait to get back! read more

I wish I would have read the reviews before walking into the retail shops in downtown Forney. I was finishing up some work at local coffee shop and decided check some of the stores. As I walked into Groovy's there were about 7-10 ppl in there and within seconds the employees began to whispering and following me around. The store is fairly small so it became very obvious. This is obviously in their training and not a one off. This store isn't black girl friendly. read more

If I could give a NEGATIVE FIVE STARS I would. I was exploring the downtown area with a neighbor as we are both new to the area. I'm building a half a million dollar house nearby. While exploring downtown Forney we happened upon this shop. Curious we stopped in. At first it seemed like a nice place to do business. The ladies behind the counter greeted us as we walked in. Then EVERYTHING went wrong. We were watched as walked through the shop. One lady actually left the counter and followed us as we looked around. It was as if they were expecting us to steal something. Or maybe the thought of me touching something that their family or friends would possibly purchase discussed them. Either way,... I would NEVER spend one red cent there or do any business with them. In this day and age it's completely uncalled for, in poor taste and down right TACKY!!! Please AVOID this place until they learn manners, respect and tact. Do Better groovy!!! read more

Cute boutique! Prices are reasonable and they have a great selection. Employees are friendly and store is laid out well.

This store has the cutest clothes and the staff is always so helpful. If you are in Forney come check them out.

Nice establishment, very clean and organized. My only complaint is that this place is not meant for melanin women to shop. We went in there to have a look around and felt like the workers watched and judged us from the time our hand touched the door. After looking around I was too afraid to leave without buying anything because I didn't want them to think we were trying to steal. I ended up buying a candle and when the lady on the register bagged my item the second lady went behind the counter look in the bag as if I could have reached over the counter and slip something in the bag. I was too afraid to even touch anything because I didn't not want them to think I stole anything. Needless to say I will not be supporting this business any more. read more

I have shopped in the store for years now (normally the rockwall location) they normally always stand behind there items but not this time! I purchased a dress to get home for my husband to point out it had a snag in the bottom area when trying it on for him, brought it in to exchange it the girl proceed to tell me I had worn it Very rude and disrespectful! I was in this store recently, and I had a pretty bad experience. The two shop girls COMPLETELY ignored the other customer in the store so that they could stand at the counter, watch me, and whisper behind their hands while pointing in my direction. Granted, my hair was a hot mess, but seriously? My entire outfit cost about $250(bag included) but I got the very strong vibe that they were just waiting for me to steal something! I just wanted to do some shopping! Any time I asked any sort of question about the merchandise, I receive a curt "no" and sometimes even an eye roll. I NEVER take to the Internet to to post a bad customer service experience, but this was so baffling and infuriating that I just had to.
