The award winning Grosvenor Garden Centre has plenty of variety for everyone. Outdoors its a traditional garden centre with a huge variety of plants. Theres a chidrens play area complete with zip slide for the bigger kids. The cafe has plenty of seating, a few sofas, a selection of newspapers to peruse and lovely hot chocolate although it is a bit pricey, especially the cakes which veer towards £2 a slice. The monthly farmers market which attracts a wide variety of local farmers is well worth visiting, once you've tried Buffallo sausages you'll be hooked for life. The regular farm shop stocks the usual overpriced preserves, biscuits and extortionate sweets. The newly expanded discount book section is well worth a browse and they have a new line in stationary made from recycled sheep poo. read more

An award winning garden centre. Like many garden centers these days, it now includes many other lines of stock. Including conservatory furniture, tools, books & household items. As part of its core business it has indoor plants, seasonal plants, herbaceous and wide of plants to suit different planting conditions. Within the garden centre there is a Garden Equipment shop selling lawn mowers and the like. There is also an aquatics centre, which sell a wide range of fish, including cold, tropical & marine. They also stock a wide range of aquariums, After walking around for a few hours you can rest and have a bite to eat at the Blue Parrot cafe (I think that's what it's called). Just outside the cafe there is a rather nice kids play area. We often go there as a family and everybody gets something out of it. read more

Brilliant, I love this shop! It is at its best of course at christmas, as the christmas decs are brilliant. The christmas decoration area is very large with may different colours and themes. The garden centre in general is absolutely huge. You would really find anything you could possibly want for the garden here. Would say give the coffee shop a miss if you dont like paying over the odds, although if you are not fussed about the prices they do have some nice homemade cakes to have with a cuppa. Check out their farm shop area where you can find some lovely foods. you can find welsh honey and all that kind of stuff - its pricey but nice if you can afford it. read more

The garden centre itself is lovely with some quirky things. We went into the cafe today which is pricey but i can live with that but it was the flies crawling over the pies and quiches which was very off putting. When i mentioned this to the blonde lady behind the counter she said oh and turned away. I could not believe it and i have sent an email to the management and i am waiting a reply. Top prices for contaminated food? Bad and shocking customer service! read more
