Karina has been very understanding, personable as all get out but firm when needed and most of all patient and determined. And has helped me with the roller coaster that life has been the last two years. Adding in reiki a few months ago with Clara has definitely bumped up my personal progress that I'm not sure we would've gotten with just acupuncture alone (as awesome as acupuncture has been for me!). Experiencing a massage from Riki is like getting physical therapy and massage in one - it truly is "therapeutic." Riki takes the time to listen to your trouble areas. She has actually looked at my body before and asked if it hurt specifically in a certain spot and sure enough without wen touching me she found it! Riki has also located areas I didn't even know we're bothering me until she went to fix it! I've been seeing Riki for a few years now for both chronic pain as well as new injuries. In fact I fell snowboarding, went to the emergency room followed by the doctors three times. I had an MRI and exrays and they couldn't figure it out, was given two different diagnosises, not helped at all and I was left with a lot of pain. Not only did Riki know exactly where I was injured even though the doctors couldn't figure it out but she knew exactly what to do that successfully treated the injury. This is a very different experience with others but still effective. Sarah led the Drum Circle and it was AMAZING! She is an engaging and knowledgeable instructor with an obvious passion for sharing the basics and nuances of drumming. I was a little apprehensive at first as everyone else had done this before but her easygoing and encouraging manner helped me slip into the session like a pro. This is a great activity if you are looking to learn something new and tap into that primal realm of existence in your soul. I'd also tried a Soundbath with Holly a couple of weeks ago. It was my first one and I learned I much prefer the resonance of the singing bowls to the other instruments but overall this was a pleasantly relaxing experience for me.

When I got there I was greeted by the man behind the desk (didn't get his name) and not only was he nice, but also very professional. Once it was time to go to the room he explained to me how it works and they gave me extra time since it was my first to get relaxed and understand the heating controls. Once the session was over I was asked how I felt and I was made sure I enjoyed my time. I wasn't pressured to get a membership or anything... I honestly didn't know what to expect coming here and when I first saw the pricing online I thought it was a little pricey, but the pure professionalism of this place is just too good, not to mention the health benefits of the sauna itself. This kind is the far infrared chamber where you lie down. It was nice! They are really generous with providing a layer of clean, fresh towels covering the entire bed and pillow. I wasn't sure if it would be too hot. It turns out it was so relaxing I fell asleep in like 10 minutes!! I think since my head was out of the chamber, the heat was tolerable and I woke up drenched in sweat!! I had that buzzy endorphin feel after working out! David and his mother who run it are really nice, helpful and passionate about what they do. David was able to explain the whole process and how the far infrared sauna works. They both were really kind and happily took the my time answering questions. It was not packed, but they were steadily busy when I went. I fall asleep really easily so I did not have any issue with background noise, but for folks who are light sleepers you might want to bring ear plugs, but they also provide them for you if you forgot to bring them. I didn't need them. In the front they also sell crystals, drinks to hydrate, gifts and other fun stuff. Thank you!
