    View from the sauna bed

Went here for my birthday on a last minute appointment. I called for any openings that day and they easily fit me into their schedule for a Fire and Float beginner pack that was just $78! They have a parking lot that has reserved spaces just for their business. The inside is really nice, each station has their own private rooms with towels, robes and other necessities you may need. The hot sauna wasn't as hot as i expected as it may have been on a lower heat because i was a first timer for any type of sauna but I definitely sweated. The bed is open around the head so you can stay cool while your body gets to work. The float bed was amazing. It was relaxing and music is able to be played or turned off from within the floating pod as well as a light. It may get hot in their so if you open the pods door to your liking it will let in cool air.

I won a free float therapy from an Instagram contest. When I first walked into the Spa I was very impressed. The place was immaculate. I love the beautiful couches and decor. The business owner was very friendly and helpful with floating tips. When I first saw the pod I was shocked. It looks like something out of this planet. I was very excited to try it out. I went into the pod and turned off the lights and music for complete me time. I felt total relaxation and fell asleep. The water was a perfect temperature for my body. I used ear plugs, they provided by them, to block the water from entering in my ears. They had hair ties too, so I could tie my hair back. I was suffering from some upper back pain from work but after the float it relieved my pain. I liked that there was q-tips to clean the ears for after the float just in case water got into my ears. The room is stocked with many clean towels and a bath robe. The shower is right next to the pod so I could wash off the rest of the salt. They thought of everything because the door next to the room I was in, was a hair dryer room with a big mirror and had some lotion in there too. I will come back again soon to try out the other interesting services they offer. I work with people and I'm going to recommend this spa to everyone. I had posted some snaps and had so many friends asking me about my experience at Frost and Float Spa. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would!

Is the water filtered between uses?

Very fishy that there's no answers. As a business owner, you would think such important hygienic measures would be disclosed in the description on the website.

With her…read moreknowledge and willingness to spend the mental time needed to figure out the problem, I was able to squat and deadlift again (in the short-term) and design a program to continue making gains (in the long-term). I came to Dr. Shea with a nerve-related injury after struggling to self-diagnose and work effectively with a local PT. I'm a powerlifter and was experiencing a strange numbness that would only present itself under heavy loads and at key points in movements. I decided to visit a Chiropractor by recommendation of a PT friend (not the person treating me). I chose this particular practice because I felt that at a self-owned practice, the practitioner is highly encouraged to provide the utmost attention to detail -- and I was right. Unlike other visible injuries, we're constrained by what I choose to convey as a patient and Dr. Shea's ability to 'feel' out potential problem areas. I'm beyond grateful of our ability to hypothesize together, test, and focus in on the root cause. Over multiple sessions with her, I was able to get to a place where I was comfortable under light load. Taking my responsibility to test movements and collect information allowed us to hone in on where the true underlying cause existed. We now have a good idea of which nerve is being compressed, where in the squat and deadlift movements is it being agitated, and how/why is my movement causing the unintended compression. Through that, I'm now back to the gainz with a plan to correct deficiencies and enter competition stronger than before. Thank you, Dr. Shea.

I was told to bring in my X-rays from 2020, patient notes from my NC doctor along with the measurements for my specific case. I had been experiencing headaches and nausea so this is what alerted me to know my atlas was off and needed adjusting. I waiting 6 weeks for a New Patient appointment, brought the hard copies of all the information requested. Here are the PROS and CONS of my experience. PROS: Location of office easy to get to/ Parking is plentiful. CONS: Doctor took me 25 minutes late for my 1st appointment after being urged to arrive early to complete paperwork/ Dr. Dolan disputed my medical history of having "ruptured discs" in my cervical spine...saying they couldn't be ruptured despite the MRI saying they were herniated / During his new patient exam (within 5 minutes of my running shoes being taken off) he tried to sell me the orthotics he sells..saying my "type" of foot would lead to knee and hip issues without having them / After the new patient exam, reviewing my X-rays and Orthogonal Measurements from my previous doctor...he informed me he still needed more information and asked me to call my NC doctor. The end result is that I paid $165 for a new patient exam which consisted of him measuring my leg length, having me touch my toes, lift and lower my chin and then him feeling around on the back of my skull and neck. He wanted more information from my NC doctor, but after talking with them on the phone a few days later, still decided he needed me to come in for him to take all new X-rays (3 x $65) + a follow up X-ray ($65) post my first adjustment. I have seen 2 other Atlas Orthogonal doctors and have never experienced so much delay and uncertainty. Sadly, I have decided to continue flying back to NC to get my tune ups when needed, rather than trust my care to Dr. Dolan who made me feel like he only wanted to charge me for more things, didn't value my time and only valued his way/opinion. Best of luck if you need Atlas Orthogonal care. I would have given ZERO stars is possible and do not recommend anyone to this practice.
