The owners JD and Troy are so welcoming and friendly and they seem to remember everyone. I got recommendations on wraps, gloves, etc. when I decided I wanted to really get into this. I go 1-2x a week and have really enjoyed getting into a new sport/hobby. The coaches are just the right amount of serious and goofy to keep people learning but also having fun. They do a good job of managing varying class sizes with people at all different levels. I've met a lot of other nice and welcoming members of the gym through the classes too. People of all different ages and backgrounds come here so it's always very diverse with who you are working out around. But everyone seems to fit in and get the attention they need in order to improve their skills. The first class is free so I definitely recommend checking this place out!

All of the coaches there from the jiu-jitsu coaches, boxing coach, Muay Thai coach they're all great and very helpful if you ask. I would highly recommend going here. It's $160 a month for unlimited classes. It's totally worth it in my opinion if you're a fan of mixed martial arts, gyms don't get much better than this. I really don't see what they could do much better than what they already have so John, good job, and I look forward to meeting you in the future.

You have to buy hand wraps for the class (mandatory, can't box without them), $10. They show you the punches before the class starts so you are not a total fish out of water. The classes have all different levels of skill and physicality so you can move at your own pace and not feel like you need to compete with the person next to you. As I write this review I have just completed my first month of class. I love it!!!!! I go on Saturdays, first thing in the morning. Jerome is the Saturday instructor and he is awesome. He pushes and gets in your face but he's such a motivator and makes sure that you are getting it. His classes can be intense but you feel the reward. I gotta mention Tina too. She is just this super awesome ball of energy. She has walked me through so many things. She's always ready to help and never makes you feel like "Geesh you don't have it yet!!" She is also a great motivator. These positive folks are why I look forward to waking up early on a Saturday. Power Punch!!!

I wanted to train as a powerlifter (even though I'm not so strong lol), so first time I saw the website and pictures, I wasn't so into it, but I gave Chris a try. I"M SO GLAD I DID. I had several trainers before, so I know a good one when I meet one. I'm 130lbs, my 1RM squat is around 180 and 190lbs for DL. Chris knows what he's doing. His style of training is simple but effective so my lift just keep going up every week, but I got bored. So I asked him to switch to body builder kind of workout, and give me a meal plan so I can get ripped and lean AF. so HE DID. I just finished week 4 and its going very well. I got bored of the food so I asked him to give me alternatives. so HE DID. I'm cutting food and still increasing my lift. He listens to your need and create the workout for your need, while other trainer might just tell you what you need and what you don't need. And his rate is unbeatable! I bet you must pay more for anybody else in the area that can give you what Chris can. I am a college student and I still can afford it. I know he's really good at what he's doing, you can tell that the guy loves it too. Give him a chance. I will not regret it. So, if you are a shoe lover like me and know where SRI is....then its easy to find because it is in the same area. Basically, they have a special where you can sign up for three classes, and gloves for 20 bucks. I tried it out once and was hooked! They have classes all throughout the day from 6A to lunch time classes, and a Friday Happy Hour!!! All of the instructors have different styles, which means a different kind of hurt, but a good kind, you know!? I believe they really want to help you with your goals, they get to know you by name, encourage you, AND hold you accountable. Totally what I need.
