You have to buy hand wraps for the class (mandatory, can't box without them), $10. They show you the punches before the class starts so you are not a total fish out of water. The classes have all different levels of skill and physicality so you can move at your own pace and not feel like you need to compete with the person next to you. As I write this review I have just completed my first month of class. I love it!!!!! I go on Saturdays, first thing in the morning. Jerome is the Saturday instructor and he is awesome. He pushes and gets in your face but he's such a motivator and makes sure that you are getting it. His classes can be intense but you feel the reward. I gotta mention Tina too. She is just this super awesome ball of energy. She has walked me through so many things. She's always ready to help and never makes you feel like "Geesh you don't have it yet!!" She is also a great motivator. These positive folks are why I look forward to waking up early on a Saturday. Power Punch!!!

Great music combined with awesome fitness & dance moves makes for a fantastic class where you don't feel like you're working out. I drive about an hour every Tuesday just to come to this class. I can't speak on any of the other classes they offer here, but if it's anything like the Zumba class, then you can't go wrong.

Kwame (owner) was the instructor for the class and he is awesome! he immediately recognized i was new and introduced himself personally to me. despite it being a group class, i noticed the individual attention he gave me; helping me with technique and form. at the end of the class he explained some of the membership options and was not a pushy salesman at all! this place has everything you need for an amazing workout and highly recommend!

Karen was extremely nice and was helpful by giving the few of us that arrived early the opportunity to get our nerves down and let us know what to expect. That one-on-one time with her was unexpected but very welcoming. She even brought in peppermint essential oil to help us with any potential motion sickness. The class had its moments where poses were a little difficult, but we encouraged one another and Karens support made a difference. There were poses that came effortlessly as well and overall it was a great experience. There was a group of friends there that enjoyed the experience and although the studio is not close by, I'll be inviting some friends to join me for the class in the near future.

The owners JD and Troy are so welcoming and friendly and they seem to remember everyone. I got recommendations on wraps, gloves, etc. when I decided I wanted to really get into this. I go 1-2x a week and have really enjoyed getting into a new sport/hobby. The coaches are just the right amount of serious and goofy to keep people learning but also having fun. They do a good job of managing varying class sizes with people at all different levels. I've met a lot of other nice and welcoming members of the gym through the classes too. People of all different ages and backgrounds come here so it's always very diverse with who you are working out around. But everyone seems to fit in and get the attention they need in order to improve their skills. The first class is free so I definitely recommend checking this place out!

On this day there was poor weather and road conditions, so we tried to call a few hours before the class time with no response. We made the assumption that they may not be open, and we decided to call back an hour before and leave a message stating that we are unable to make it and asking if there was any way we could refund or reschedule the class. 10 minutes before the class was about to begin (we are located 45 minutes away) We received a rude and unprofessional text stating that there was no snow near her, and we would not be receiving any refund. After trying to mitigate the situation, we received multiple more rude texts and then no response. Today, one week later, we received a text about a class scheduled for the next day. Due to the absolute lack of communication, we had no previous knowledge of this class. When I called to ask what this new class scheduled was, I was met with extreme rudeness and was cursed out. All my communication was with Tia, I had tried to speak to her with respect and figure out the situation, but it was clear that she had zero customer service skills.
