She had the lighting plans from my builder on file and we went step by step and coordinated a wonderful plan for the whole house. Expert advice on sizes of fixtures appropriate for the space axed my tendency to choose fixtures too small thinking a small house needed small. Of course lighting stores have always been a panic attack trigger because of the endless choices hanging above overwhelming my thoughts. But, this sales lady knew my builder's budget and quizzed me on my taste and guided me toward a delightful plan. The lights are up and are getting rave reviews from construction workers, nosy neighbors, normally critical relatives and my dear practical husband who has a dormant aesthetic gene. I was given pictures in color of all fixtures and this was invaluable on installation day and as a reference for other decor choices. The great news is I was spot on my budget except for adding some light kits for bedroom fans which are not normally done with the modern use of abundant cans in home lighting. The bottom-line is Pine Grove is a cut above any lighting store I have encountered where you are respected as a client regardless of the size of you house or lighting budget.

However, another more mature lady came by me while I was shopping and just seemed like she was eyeing me up and down and suggesting I didn't belong there. (I was in my work clothes.) She also checked me out when I was done shopping and gave me that same impression. If I hadn't been here before, I would've just walked out. That's how consignment works, so I'm not sure why folks are complaining about not getting much for their consigned items. If no one wants it, it takes time and discounts to move it off the floor. If it doesn't sell, I've taken things back and sold myself on FB marketplace. I just don't like doing that for everything. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and honest if they don't think they'll be able to sell something for you.

I had a "premium", very expensive system put in and a sprinter heads broke days after installation, and they would not come and look at it much less repair it, though this was the least of the problems. The system was not designed properly. The sprinkler heads were not located properly, and there are patches of grass that never get water and some that get to much and shrubs that get ripped to shreds from the big rotary heads. Some zones have too many sprinkler heads on them for the water pressure and the layout is poorly designed. They wouldn't even come look at the problems. Do not use these guys!
