The rock steps and stone used on the sidewalk blend perfectly with the existing stone on our front porch. The rock is very thick, and should hold up with the sand base, despite our Michigan winters. The freeze/thaw cycles were separating the rock from the cement on our previous walkway. Jay and Fischer did the renovation over a period of three days. They were meticulous in removing the existing steps and sidewalk, cutting the new stone, leveling it out, and cleaning up after. They even added a few additional decorative stones to the sides of the steps! Dennis, the salesperson, was great about getting back with us about the estimate, and showing up at our house with the workers at the stated time.

My experience with this company had to do with two of their drivers in a big truck. As they speed down to the discount tabacco store and parked, I approached Daryl and his other brother Darryl to convey that I would contact their employer regarding their best pro behavior on display. not to say all of Traverse Outdoor employees are so petty and stink with anger, just a heads up. I would also, question the drivers CDL creditionals. Perhaps a visit from law enforcement would be approprate to ensure all docs, insurances, and CDL's are valid and up to date with the company and drivers? Keep your head on a swivel if you see Daryl franticaly driving while jonesing for a vape in a big Traverse Outdoors truck! You may not be so lucky as to escape with a middle finger in your face. All in all, based on this experence and what other reviews are out there, I'll pass on any business interaction with this company. Good luck!

We had a new build in TC with a challenging lot with about 18,000 sq ft of dirt and sand. TOMS…read moreshowed up gave us a fair quote at a very reasonable price, and we scheduled a date. They showed up on time, very friendly, and got the job done pretty quick. I have steep hills that required hay mat to be applied that I bought. Once the rear and hills were sprayed, they stopped mid job and helped me roll out and staple them to the hill. Once the hay was down they sprayed extra to help it hold down. They did a great job on the lawn, was available anytime I had water or fertilizer questions, and 5 weeks later we had grass. I just reached out to TOMS last week as we had some spots that struggled to grow and they came back out for a free touch up to "make it right, and ensure I was 100% happy". I recommend them to my new neighbors who are building.
