I met with our inspector and he was very nice but I am very unhappy with the report. We were told that he could not get to the breaker box due to a duffle bag. During the inspection, the home owner at the time was home. He was talking to her about softball and her trophies for an extended period of time and told her to replace the fire detector, so I doubt it would have been very difficult to just ask her to move the duffel bag. So, we have a bunch of electrical issues and no labeled . Fine, whatever. We could have paid them to come out again, but after not doing their job the first time over the smallest obstacles in their way I was afraid there may be another duffel bag preventing them from accomplishing their inspection. Very shortly after moving in there were problems - we started noticing things that were wrong that were not even on the report. Rotted soffits with clearly visible damage from outside the house. No insulation what-so-ever. The refrigerator doesn't close. Clogged plumbing. A gas leak. The ac line was leaking and not cooling the house. Every other week we've been finding new issues since we've been here. We're waiting for what's next. So here we are thousands of dollars out and honestly I have my suspicions about why we were sent there by our realtor to begin with - but she did her job. This company failed to do theirs. I would not recommend using them for home inspections unless you like surprises!
