On our most recent trip, the staff let us know about the current offer but didn't pressure us into taking it. (Even though it was a no-brainer deal. Essentially two weeks of climber for the price of one?? Duh.) The facility is very well taken care of, the bathrooms are always clean, and the staff is good at keeping the floor clear and making sure patrons are being respectful and responsible. Everything you could need is there for rent, all you have to do is show up.

From one week to the next you might find that a warm up V0 route is now as difficult as last week's V3. If you thought you were tracking any improvement in your strength and technique as you finally breach the chasm from V4 to V5, well... Climbing is so much just try and try and try, with more fails than successes. Winning takes so much perseverance that gauging your abilities becomes murky and the only way to track that is through the complexity of a problem. So it just doesn't help when the only way to see it can't keep their system straight.

We are an Asian American family and I felt like we were being targeted because there were a bunch of other "non minority" kids playing football and running into people but none of them had said a word. She just had her eyes on us the whole time. He already has a swim pants on and then I said that she seen us enter and we were sitting down in front of her face the entire time why she didn't say anything when we first got in. she was there and seen us but didn't say anything until my son started to have fun. I didn't like the experience so we left. She was a blonde girl between 5'6 - 5'7 monitoring the kiddie pool around 1:15pm 12/30/24 The prices are affordable and the place seem really decent enough I'm just not happy with the worker that told us right when I finally got my son to open up. It took a long time to show him the water was ok. He is non verbal so to see him smiling and having fun then being told he can't wear that already an hour in, hurts.

They offer way more classes and they have multiple levels of bouldering. The rope climbing also seems to be rated slightly easier and there's way more options for rope climbing so there's more room to spread out. The walls are also taller so it's great for working on your endurance. If you come on a weeknight, it's still pretty hard to get a top rope spot. I will frequently switch to lead climbing because there are more options. Just don't forget rope! They do events here sometimes but I find that the events are way better at the downtown location. It's probably because there's not a ton of space just for hanging out. They have a pretty killer cafe, just like the downtown location but it closes annoyingly early. Why is it that every time I actually need to buy food, the cafe is closed?! I also find in general, this location is more chill, people are just less intense. That's my take, it's based on no real personal experiences, it's just a vibe.

Searched up easy, short winter hikes for solo hikers and this popped up, super glad it did! This hike is an absolute must try if you live in Utah county. It is just 1.3 miles round-trip and only took about 15 minutes to get up to the frozen waterfall. The waterfall was absolutely beautiful, all of the ice crystals and trees were stunning. It is pretty slippery this time of year so I would bring hiking poles or hiking boots that have good traction so that you can get down to the waterfall. I unfortunately wore the wrong shoes so I couldn't go all the way down. Would've broke my assWill definitely be doing this again, it's nice that it's so close and such a short easy hike for the winter time!

Parking lot: Free Size: Small Bathroom: Yes Men and women Toilet: Regular; water-based. From the parking lot to the waterfall, took 15 minutes, give or take. The trail is slightly incline, some parts more, than others and since I haven't worked out in the past few months, I was slightly out of breath, but nothing extreme before the waterfall. Moreover, there is also a path down to the waterfall, with a log to sit on, and taken in the beautiful waterfall. If one decides to go further up, the path does continue on top of the waterfall, right hand side. This trail is easy and no way of getting lost to the water fall. In additon, If you're looking for more beyond the waterfall, there is a much smaller one shortly ahead, but after that, there is not much to see. A lot of snow and mud, and dry plants. And after the second smaller waterfall, the trail does get challenging because it's all uphill. Unfortunately, I did not make it to the meadows. I came across two hikers who said they did go to meadows and it was ugly right now. I wanted to see for myself and on the way there, the path itself was very ugly, muddy and dry. Henced, I turned back. Overall, family friendly, easy hike, and make sure to bring a hat because a lot of the trail after the waterfall is direct sunlight, no shade.
