If you come in the morning on a weekend expect to see lots of dog owners with their dogs coming here. They also have a singer performing live which just makes the place a great place to hangout in the morning to start your weekend day off right. I most recently bought a bag of pineapples for $5 that have been well used in smoothies this week and even a chicken dish for dinner. There's also a small area for organic and gluten free flours, coconut oils, yoghurts, cheeses etc. All in all Charlie's is a one-stop shop and great for a weekly produce shop or for the one-off "I've run out of..." type of stop in. Unless it was freshly made, I wouldn't recommend it. My sister ordered the banana "nice-cream," which was sinfully creamy and somehow still 100% dairy-free. Even the chocolate drizzle on top fooled me! We also got a few of their smoothies, all of which had the option of being organic (for an extra charge) or regular. Overall, it was a fairly pricey but deliciously healthy mini meal. There's a lot of hype to this place but I think it's well-deserved - worth a visit!

It works because it's the sort of thing I would struggle to do by myself; it's awfully difficult to keep around fresh fruit.
