We are a Military family and when we PCS'd (Permanent change of station) to Homestead, we were scrambling to find a location that we felt comfortable with when placing our child in someone else's care. We met with a handful of child care facilities for daycare at the time and we were SO lucky to have finally found this special place. My son who began here for daycare 2 years ago (with Ms.Kathy & Ms.Erica - who are amazing! ) and is now in VPK with Ms.Gloria & Ms.Mia, he always looks forward to seeing his amazing teachers, friends, as well as the wonderful cleaning crew that he enjoys picking flowers and bringing those flowers right to them just about every morning. To see him excited about school each day and to know that this KinderCare has impacted my child in such a way, melts my heart and reassures my husband and I that we made a great decision in choosing Ms.Judy's KinderCare for our son. Based on my experience as a parent, I was very disappointed with the overall environment and leadership at the school. My son attended for one year, and I did not feel that the academic program provided the level of instruction or support students need to truly learn and grow. The school appeared to place much more emphasis on its baseball program than on academics. In my opinion, families looking for a strong educational environment should carefully consider other options. The Spanish teacher was the one exception. She was professional, caring, and appeared genuinely committed to teaching her students. Overall, I would not recommend this school to families who are seeking strong academics, consistent leadership, and a positive learning environment. The school's leadership should take parent concerns more seriously and make meaningful improvements. I would give it zero stars if that were an option.

The center is located across from a section 8 housing development and gets parking lot crime even…read morein the daytime. As I write this post today there was a gunshot reported in their parking lot at 1:30 this morning. Their is a bullet hole in one of their windows. My wife witnessed someone breaking in to a customer's car trying to remove the rear seat video monitors. Apparently, it is an easy mark to break into cars when parents are picking up. They tend to leave purses and cellphones in car and if they do come out, they have a baby/child in hand so will not confront. I live in area and this is not a deal breaker if you take precautions like parking where you can see your car, secure your valuables and in my case leave a 100 lb. Doberman in back seat. I also had a problem several years back when a sex offender was living in a homeless shelter next to the daycare center. I was working with police to have him removed, which took a couple of weeks. I informed the center of the danger, but did not receive a response. English is not their strength. In the infant care section neither of the two workers speak english. I want my granddaughter exposed to english. The upside is that she gets a lot of Latina love. My wife doesn't speak Spanish and she has been able to communicate with front end staff. I am going their because I am court ordered through DCF (I have temp custody), so they are all wired for DCF and also VPK. They advertise that they have an arrangement with base for subsidized daycare for military personnel. Bottom line , is that if you are street smart and Hispanic, this place is great.

Which is very convenient for most parents. Rainbow school is very structured, which teaches discipline to the kids. Friendly staff, awesome caring teachers who really take care of the kids as if they were theirs. My son is in summer camp now.... But he continues to ask for Miss Rojas, his k-3 teacher. she is awesome... Love her. Miss Jones (k-2) teacher... Bless her heart for having sooooo much patience. The activities for the kids are endless... No room for boredom. I can just go on and on. It's super close to home, my little one has only been here less than 1 month and so far I'm thrilled. It's a Christian school also so that perk is great. I love the fact of having her here. Her teacher is wonderful "Mrs. Chavez" she's super sweet and patient. As an older mom of 1, I'm a worry wort but Mrs Chavez always makes me feel great. I gotta say that the other teachers and after school staff are the best! Everyone is so nice and it's just a wonderful ambiance. I'm very happy so far.
