A lot of empty promises. Fill sorry for the employees. They change frequently and I can tell toxic environment is the reason behind.

A four star vetting? Far from it…read more It's dirty and unsafe. You're putting your kids at risk by sending them here. There's never enough staff, and the staff they do have, many are not licensed or being reviewed by the licensing agency for misconduct. Most of the good teachers left out of frustration. Few good ones are still left, are paid a few Pennie's over minimum wage, and have had enough. More recently, they chose to keep around a teacher that was accused of abusing 3 (THREE!) infants by another teacher because they "felt it couldn't be true". Only when parents called corporate was it actioned on. Before enrolling, try reaching out to the families who've left to get their honest reviews. I'm sure you can find them easily. I wish someone told me all this when I enrolled. It's expensive, one of the most expensive areas in the area, and has the worse reputation in the neighborhood. Run. Your welcome.

awful corporate owned daycare, meaning they do not pay their teachers well and parents are dealing…read moreconstant tuition increases. i sent my son here for 5+ years and i am so glad to be done with this place. within the last year, this daycare has had incidents where a young child was left locked in the outside playground in the hot summer for over an extended time (over 40+ mins) without anyone realizing he was missing. a few weeks later, my son was involved in an incident that was reported to Office of Child and Family Services (OCFS) where a teacher was reported to be handling my toddler son aggressively. after investigation, i learned this teacher had been disciplined 3x for the same reason and no action was taken by the director. the final straw was the director not notifying me of the incident (had to find out from OCFS) and she was not even being apologetic. a red flag for anyone considering KC is there is a big open house sign in front of kindercare promoting they have open availability because most of the parents i know pulled their child from kindercare after the incident with my son. any decent daycare is going to be fully booked because of childcare staffing shortages and parents being diligent about not cutting corners when it comes to finding the right care for their baby. google "MANHASSET KINDERCARE OCFS" and check for yourself.

Stay away !!!! This place is not for working families…read more They will call you for no reason to pic up the kid. Those are there rules and thats it. Dawn is not the honest person to deal with. Any argument she will make you pay. Extra fees are everywhere. Other places are more convenient and loving. Early drop off is a rip off there. You are paying for lunch that basically kids don't eat. Need to supply them with extra. My daughter was left in cold weather outside, shivering from cold and crying, I found her in playgrounds and teachers says.... We gave her hugs and kisses I hope she will be well. Teachers are changing very frequently. That make it very strange. Either there are overwhelmed or underpaid.

The school is absolutely wonderful with a fun, stimulating and varied curriculum. In my opinion…read moreit's a perfect balance of activities that incorporate all the critical early development milestones. There is both predictability in the schedule blended with new experiences. My children love it there and cannot wait to return for another year. Location is ideal. The playground and outdoor scenery is picturesque, located on a one way quiet and clean residential street. The classroom is bright and inviting. My kids absolutely love love the art projects. There is even group yoga!! And introduction of computer skills. I think it's great how there are different themes throughout the school year with emphasis on important health, science, safety, and community topics and more. The staff are warm, friendly, patient and professional and they seem very well versed in early childhood development and education. The drop off and pick up are well organized. It is amazing how much my child has excelled and matured socially and emotionally thanks to this wonderful, thoughtful and well laid out program. Definitely highly recommend!!!

I am truly disappointed that my son Jake of 28 months was literally kicked out on day care Friday…read more101:5 am 12/16 and not to return on Monday during the Friday night party By the Director Joanna over an incident in the music room of pushing 3 kids and hair pulling. He Is 2 yead old!!! I am truly sorry to the parents that this incident happened, but it could have been avoided if it wasn't for the lack of staff that day where 5 teachers were out including Jakes Lead teacher Mrs. A. Jakes ABA therapists was there during the incident for the first time at the and was shocked how unorganized it was and the lack of structure, redirection and positive reinforcement. I have noticed many issues over the last few weeks and according to Jake's 2 other outside therapists which who have been working with him on speech and communication at the day care notice the issues of lack of structure staff organization and improper transitions. Jake recently has 2 new teachers in his group which do not do much for him and other teachers reassigned to other groups. Joanna had let go Dashon and her sister who were wonderful with jake, well-educated and was running things well until Joanna returned and took over. After they left it has been a steady decline with improper greeting in the morning, no proper welcome and a rushed exit at the end of the day where Jake seemed to be unhappy at the end of the day frustrated and very hungry like he did not eat or drink enough during the day at times. I had one therapist come in to observe the day before on Thursday from 4 to 5 pm when he was pick up at 5pm to observe him and she also notices improper and irregular transition at the end of the day. We met with the staff on Monday who had work with Jake at times for the last 8 months who are wonderful and would be truly missed and said our good buys, as we have made up our minds not to continue with this daycare for our son due to the unwelcoming reactions unprofessionalism and decisions from Joanna the director. After meeting with Joanna on Monday evening regarding her explanation she was full of lies and made-up stories for her reasoning and decision. She does not acknowledge her staffing issues and organization issues and pours all the blame on my 2-year-old son. Not even and incident report filed for Friday. I will be filing a complaint to NYS Child services.
