We switched from another local nursery school when my oldest was heading to PreK years ago and we've been here ever since. The teachers are SO loving and accommodating. Parents are welcome in the classrooms for their child's "special day" various times throughout the year, so you always feel connected to your child's daily experiences, as well as get to know their classmates. This was the ideal nursery school environment for us for the past 6 years and NSNS will always hold a special place in our hearts for the love, nurturing and education that it gave to our children.

I couldn't believe the condescending tone and rudeness all around. Wow!!! Best advice I can give, find another place for your child. I moved my son out I fear they will make him less confident, and give him anxiety, and keep him from speaking out. PS. Because of this community, our family "and most of all", our children are thriving. Juliana recently graduated from GCNS and is now flourishing in Kindergarten! Elliana just started her GCNS experience and is now in Playgroup. This school is a cooperative. Every parent plays a role in the experience that our children have at GCNS. Although we have very busy schedules, both parents in our household are members of the board. I personally am Co-Head of school maintenance and GLADLY volunteer my time and LOVE six Saturdays per school year (when all other parents only need to commit to 2) in order to participate with many other parents to make our children's experience just that much better. additionally, many teachers also sacrifice their Saturdays to be there with us while upkeeping the school grounds. At GCNS, you are part of a community. you're not just some Social Security number that won some lottery.

We were searching nonstop looking for the right place to get our 2yearold son started in the world. It's hard too explain, but we just didn't get a good vibe from other places. They felt to heartless and business-y. From the very first email from Red Robin, everything was different. The response was warm and welcoming. And even given our unique situation, Red Robin didn't turn us away. They made it clear that, if the fit was right for our son's development, they would do whatever was within their power to work with us. And they did, and we are beyond grateful!!! Red Robin was the right place at the right time for us! Our son has only been in school for a few weeks and he's grown so much: from barely being able to interact with kids his own age to now, wanting to see his friends and teachers every day he's not in school; he also knows his letters, and can (sometimes) count to five; he even tells mini stories about playing in the waterpark, etc. It's absolutely amazing to witness our son flourish the way he has at Red Robin. Oh, and yes!, they have a mini water park area outside... and an on-site pool for their summer camp, and a horse =D But more importantly, the staff is wonderful. My 2 year old was coming home starving, despite sending him to school with a lot of his favorite foods. His lunch bag would be full at the end of the day. The staff said he was refusing to eat but he would point and grunt at his lunch bag as soon as he saw his lunch bag when I picked him up. He would take food out of lunch bag and eat the entire drive home. My completely potty trained 3 year old started having accidents, they lost his urine soaked sneakers and shorts for 2 days. Then those shoes and shorts had to be thrown away because I couldn't get the urine smell out. The place is disgusting, filthy dirty. The entryway floods every time it rains and smells like mold. If you look at the wood around the door frames, it's obvious that the space has flooded many times. Communication was awful. I would get little to no information about my 3 year old. I wouldn't know if he napped or for how long. I never knew if he was having bowel movements. Several of the staff members did not speak English. Many kids would be crying in the parking lot and not wanting to go into the building. An obvious sign that even the kids didn't like going there. Do not send you children here.

She seems to really enjoy the staff and spending time with her friends at daycare -- they feel like one little family. Alissa, the owner, is very responsive and flexible with hours and has always been helpful whenever we have questions. The staff does a great job keeping everything clean each day, which we really appreciate. We are especially excited for the new daycare center to open. The rooms look thoughtfully set up for the different age groups and it seems like it will be a great space for the kids!
