This is one of the worst, low integrity businesses you will ever find! They don't care one iota…read moreabout their customer's satisfaction, or following the rules they insist we adhere to, they are your classic bully without remorse! I bought & paid instantly for a piece of vintage electronics, and then, as I do with every purchase I make, I asked them to "please ship securely." I simply reminded them, very politely & professionally, about the FedEx shipping requirements they are already expected to follow. No special requests, beyond reminding them that popcorn or crushed paper is never appropriate when shipping heavy items, something every knowledgeable & responsible shipper knows. Both mediums settle or compress during shipment, making them useless for actual protection, and only suitable for fill when shipping lighter items. Did they reply assuring me they always ship responsibly, or perhaps explain how they make sure this is not an issue? Nope, THEY REFUSED?! Despite me assuring them I had years of experience shipping the vintage electronics I bought, they cancelled my order without once trying to contact me, or even question why? So in other words, when they found out I expected them to ship responsibly, they ran from it as fast as humanly possible! They then piled on buy fraudulently cancelled my order without any valid reason, and then when I complained, they tried to make me out to be the bad guy! So you have all the worst things you can find in a business, absolute disregard for secure shipping; complete lack of willingness to learn and expand their current, failing systems, and failure to accept responsibility for their own failures. In essence they already know it all and no one will tell them different; and instead of interacting professionally, they use deflection, projection and just plain juvenile excuses to justify their atrocious behavior! They also have a new and growing CLOTHING section in the store now, if you did not yet know. Staff are always kind, helpful, and friendly without being invasive, or playing church programming and music over the PA (ahem, lookin at you, Halo, where the pricing is incomparable but I tend to need my earbuds not to feel I'm being indoctrinated ) and the pricing a better value than almost anywhere! Meanwhile, the reuse, repurpose, recycle mission of no/low waste and goal of attainable, affordable homes is much better aligned with my personal values than Goodwill has ever managed to be! Full marks in everything for Habitat Restores! Check it out and drop off some stuff from your garage, closet, or storage to make some space while you're there!!

I didn't expect the store to take everything whatsoever, but…read moreout of 4 XL totes with a ton of both unused / tags still on designer bags and shoes, and plenty of in-style clothing with tags still on (I lost a lot of weight and wanted to finally clear my closet), they only accepted 16 items -- some of which were not the brand new with tags items (AE, Abercrombie, Aero, Vans / skate shop clothing like PacSun & Zumiez, etc., Coach, Kate Spade, MOSCHINO, etc.). The value of the payout for the 16 items was decent for the # of items, but not for their actual worth, which was expected, I just wanted it all out of my closet! The staff were SUPER nice and so helpful. 5 stars for the staff -- the only reason I gave 4 stars was because of their surprisingly low selection on what they accepted. The store overall was VERY CLEAN and well organized! The store is pretty small (the only location I have been to), but they have a pretty wide selection. I will say that they have a much wider womens selection than they do men's, but still a lot to choose from. The prices are low / moderate for the items. I will definitely come back to shop, and possibly consign in the future. I will warn with consigning to them that they look at the manufacture date tag (usually a small white tag on the inside side of the garment), and will only take items that have been purchased within the last two years. That being said, I had a ton of NWT AE jeans that were purchased over the summer (some staple jeans still in store) and they did not accept them. Some of this was due to their current stock, but I wanted to let everyone know! Overall it was a good experience and I'll be back!
