I didn't find out until July 2017. No one notified me, owner lied and said he called me. He reported it stolen without giving police the VIN or my name. Owner refuses to be accountable for a vehicle in his possession. So basically your vehicle is not secure here, and if it is stolen it will be your fault somehow. AVOID at all costs, trust me it is not worth it. Got my truck back from impound lot with $4000 plus damage, I am still trying to put it back together.

It is a European luxury brand and having the work done at a dealership would have been astronomical, probably as much as the auto was worth undamaged. I went to Charlie's Collision Repair to ask them to consider fixing the damage. Dave Osborne advised me that owners of this brand preferred to have the dealership make repairs. Parts were very expensive and had to be shipped from St. Louis. He was reluctant to even look at the SUV. I showed him pictures and persuaded him to consider making the repairs. Had the SUV towed to the shop and an agreement was reached . The total was at least 40% less than I expected to pay at the dealership. First, .....the bad news. Dave had warned me, "I hope you're not expecting it back anytime soon." The good news was, .....a wrecked SUV was sitting in the repair shop, not my garage or driveway. It was finished exactly when promised,.... "not anytime soon". I was kept informed on progress and problems until repairs were complete. When I picked it up, Dave, the office manager, and the mechanics escorted me to the finished SUV. They were all that proud of the work they had done. And, it looked perfect. The SUV had been cleaned inside and out. I was advised to take it home for a week or so, make a list of anything I was unhappy with, bring it back and they'd fix everything to my satisfaction. It's been seven weeks and it has not been necessary to return. I was very satisfied with the work performed and convinced the cost was very reasonable. What a great group of people!!

There attention to detail, knowledge of car repair and attention to detail is incredible. I worked in a upholstery and glass shop all through HS and college so I have a lot of experience working with bodyshops. Chris and his guys were 2 steps ahead of me doing things you have to beg other BS to do which is the right way. And to bring my point home I went to 10 different supposed BS and they wouldn't do what I needed done to get my truck back to show room condition. My cab corners were rusted out a common problem on many Ford trucks and one BS told me to wait on fixing them. I about fell over and that is just a little bit about him and his crews commitment to doing the job right,communicating with the customer so they know the reason for what and why they are doing the work on your vehicle the way they are. 5 stars hands down.

I had a number in my head after looking at parts on eBay for what would be a fair price with labor and having a fallback in case things leaked the next time I go to wash this in the touch less car wash thing (which is soon with the upcoming snow, gotta get that undercarriage good). Mike met that number, took care of it extremely quickly and effectively, and was a super nice person to deal with. Thanks very much. Also, dogs in the office. A huge plus for me. He didn't let them run at me or even out of the back office. I honestly wouldn't have minded, I really like dogs, but I can see how this would be a scare for some. Socializing dogs is a good thing. You rather he leave them home all day?. Overall 10/10 would rather not Mike again because that means something bad happened to my car, but will come back if the dings/ dents are a thing again. If your options are dealership or Mike, choose local. Choose Mike.
