I had a truly bizarre experience at this ice cream shop after it was highly recommended to me. I was in the mood for a thick milkshake, so I specifically asked for an extra thick one. After waiting 10 minutes (despite being the only customers there), what I got was basically chocolate milk. I pointed it out, and they remade it--but after another 10-minute wait, it was only slightly thicker. As we drove away, things got even worse. While sipping my shake, I suddenly felt something unusual in my mouth--pieces of plastic coming through the straw! Whether this was a careless mistake or just a lack of attention to detail, I can't say, but it completely ruined the experience. So I after waiting almost 20 minutes for two shakes and having pieces of plastic in my shake and having to discard it. This is one of the worst customer service experiences. I've had in a long time. Safe to say, this is one visit I won't remember fondly. I shared this experience with someone right after and they say had a very similar experience. That is a very uneven place. read more

It's always so fun checking out all of the cool things they have and sampling the ice cream. Also, the ice cream scoops are HUGE & The waffle cones are made in house and are AMAZING! Normally I have been pretty satisfied with the quality of customer service, but the last time I went my wife and I were greeted with a nasty attitude when asking for a few simple tasks of service from the worker in the drive through. Something that I really love about G's is that they have 1/2 gallons full of their creations that you can also purchase! Love me some G's dairy. This has Reeds Dairy ice cream which is the best ice cream I've ever had and I've been eating ice cream for at least 20 years... maybe even 21. They have several different types of ice cream. I recommend "Mom's Recipe". You have to go there to find out what that actually includes. They also sell other Dairy products i.e. cheese, milk etc. I wouldn't recommend buying milk or cheese here because it is way over priced. The staff is very friendly. Got two regular milkshakes here awhile back and it was $12. It was also one of the most subpar ones I've had anywhere. It was just basically a colder, thick chocolate milk. There wasn't a lot for the price point, nor was there even a lot of flavor of the actual ice cream. I wouldn't be mad at the price or size if it was good enough, but it was one of the most disappointing milkshakes I've had. The literal 8 year old cashier was great.
