Mr. Sandoval ghosted us during the middle of our immigration process. He initially met us at the Coffee Bean and used an answering service in lieu of an office (that was the first red flag). After a month of sending him texts, emails and leaving him messages with his answering service, I had to resort to sending him a certified letter (which is the last step required before filing an ethics complaint) and he finally responded. My legal plan I have set up with my company sent over a list of attorneys I am able to use for immigration services, which is how I found Gabriel's office. I called and explained what I needed for a service which required my spouse's citizenship paperwork and I also had a quick travel question regarding his permanent resident card. His assistant Jasmine? was able to help me set up a consultation for the citizenship paperwork and I urged her if she can find out the travel question for me as quick as possible since I needed to know the response ASAP. I was able to google the answer but still wanted to hear it from an attorney just to confirm as they are most up to date with any new processes. When the assistant called she explained Gabriel couldn't answer my simple question, that any attorney would know like the back of their hand, and rather than giving me a simple response he had the assistant set up a ANOTHER SEPARATE CONSULTATION. Not only did he not care about a future client of his after being informed of the travel arrangements but he had the audacity to let me know I had to go back through my insurance and set up another case number for a SIMPLE question he could of answered in 10 seconds or in my already scheduled consultation for the citizenship paperwork. I explained to the assistant that I was able to google the answer and all I needed from him was to confirm if it was correct or not, she admitted yes you can google the answer but still persisted in setting up another consultation for my simple question. As I was surprised at this response from his assistant she proceeded to have side conversation and was laughing during our call with another coworker of hers as if the call was unimportant her. I have nothing by praise for mr. Sandoval and his staff. I had a family emergency last year in 2020 and needed to go back home to Croatia on a very short notice. Among millions of things I needed to get done before I left, was also to apply to become a citizen. I have had a green card for 6 years and I also had a criminal record with a few misdemeanors on it so I had some reasons to be scared about the outcome of the entire process. After the initial meeting, I really felt like I could trust him and I felt confident that I was in good hands. I spent the next few months in Croatia while being in constant communication with mr. Sandoval, including phone calls, despite the 9 hour time difference. I really have to commend his and the whole staff's dedication to his clients. Not only did he predict the exact time when I would get all my notices but he exceeded all my expectations. Only 8 months after submitting my application, I got my citizenship and everything went smooth while the world was still mostly shut down due to COVID-19. I do have to add, I would have probably had my Naturalization even sooner but after I passed the interview, USCIS had asked for some more documentation in regards to my arrest and mr. Sandoval took care of it all immediately and sent it all in without needing anything from me.
