My situation was a strange one . I was born in Mexico to American Parents. I never doubted I was a US Citizen, that Is until I wanted a passport and real ID. It was probably the biggest shock I've had in my 65 years on this planet. The Government wouldn't even give me my SS retirement until I proved my parent's residency. Erika is the attorney to see if you need results! After years in the immigration court system she was able to administration dismiss our case. It was all done within weeks after we hired her, she didn't stop calling the judge/ court until the last paperwork was signed and the case dismissed. Worse experience ever !!!!!!! We made an appointment on the 16th to render service's from this attorney. When we got to the office , they made us wait for about 1/2hour , then the assistant call us in for the interview, but she said the attorney was not able to interview us , becase of issues. why didn't you guys call us to reschedule the appointment?. That would save us time. after that she said to ask anything we wanted to know, but she had no clue, of the topic , very unprofessional, what a wasted time !!! Finally we asked the assistant to reschedule for another day, whenever the attorney would be available, and here we are 10 DAYS latter still waiting for the call !!!! No courtesy whatsoever!!. Was rude and patronizing when I asked for answers. This was the worst experience that I have had with an attorney office. My appointment was initially with Erika but she was a no show, so I was told over to meet with a rude guy instead. He was 30 minutes late and half way through our meeting, he picked up his phone to make a phone call. He was very condescending and confrontational. If you have a case you want handled professionally and with respect, do not go here. I did not realize that going to this office would give me such a bad experience and quite frankly, ruin my day. I hired attorney Erika Roman for my boyfriend's immigration case and believe me you will be waiting your money and time hiring her. Erika is extremely unprofessional and promises you one thing, but does not deliver. Erika is always late to court and cancels the last minute, literally a day prior to court to say she will not be able to make it to court, then she sends one of her staff members to represent my boyfriend at court and mind you this the staff member is one hour and a half late to court. Erika claims to say she is great at bail hearing bonds, yet on my boyfriend's case kept telling the judge she needs to withdraw because Erika is never prepared. Erika's paralegal and herself have a lack of communication. You will barely meet with Erika, she sets no relationship between the client and herself. Erika does not know how to speak to her clients, if you talk over her accidently, she will scream over you to get her point across. Every time Erika would say one thing, but then turn around and do the opposite. Erika has no respect for her clients, she will speak to you in a condescending way. At the end Erika Roman was uncapable or simply did not bother with my boyfriend,s case and decided to withdraw from the case. Erika's excuse for withdrawing were not valid and she create false accusations. I would highly recommend to not hire this attorney, believe me do your research and find another attorney who will deliver. read more
