its a blessing that i met Erika Lynn Roman Around 7,8 years ago i was detained because i had 2 aggravated felony, i was so desperate after spent around $4000 for a attorney but can't help me at all and doesn't know much about immigration law. My mom told me to sign the paper and go back to Vietnam. I do not want to go back since all my families here. one time another court hearing, i was with 2 more peoples waiting to call to see the judge. one of that person told me how bad his case is and maybe today is the last hearing and will get deport back to Mexico. They call him out to go see the judge for awhile, after he came back he was so happy as crazy and told his case dismissed and he get to stay in United States. Immediately i asked who is his Attorney, by that time my English not good at all, he has to write her name on a piece of paper ( Erika Lynn Roman ). After that court hearing i went back to the dorm and try to find out who is he/her. I asked many peoples around the dorm since this is around a 130 peoples dorm, Realized she represent many peoples in here and all told she is a good Attorney. I called my mom and told her i want to take my last chance, if this time i fell, i will sign the deportation paper and go back to Vietnam. My mom said: "okay". Not that long after, i finally got my bond which is everyone told me this is impossible but Erika did it. I am finally out of that detention. 2 aggravated felony its not a easy case to fight, and also i do not have that kind of money to fight for, its not the fee from Erika high, its because i will need 1 more Attorney for my cases. I wanted to take the time to briefly describe my experience with Erika and her team. Let me start off by saying this type of situation that some of us find ourselves in or trying to tackle is never fun and can be very overwhelming. I reached out to a few different immigration firms based on location (Valley and Mid- City) and reviews posted. I met with one, Mid-City, via phone (covid - 19). Erika's team had no time slots for me for nine days and time was a factor. I called Erika's team back and explained my timeline and asked that they reconsider for a sooner appointment and I assured them i would be flexible. Luckily, they double booked their schedule and saw me in the next 48 hours. I only waited 15 minutes in the waiting room before speaking with her paralegal Irving. Irving made both me and my girlfriend, feel calm and assured us he could do his best with the help of Erika to complete our paperwork in the timeline we had. We left and slept on it. After a few days we reconnected and they put us on the schedule the very next day and worked after hours to complete all paper work and filling in the very short timeline we had left. They crossed all the T's and dotted all the I's. Over a holiday weekend I had a big scare about information I thought I needed and I reached out to them. I received a call from Erika the next day at 9 am on a Monday and she walked me through everything again, for no additional fees for her time, and again assured me everything was taken care of and sent me proof of conformation that all paperwork was received by USCIS. She is an amazing attorney, if I were to get into details it would be a lot to say about my husbands case. But I can tell you this he was considered a flight risk and had another charge as well, he was denied bond the first time with the worst attorney. Attorney Erika and her team worked extremely fast for us. We were on a 4 week deadline to get a case closed from 1989 that was on paperwork and not digitalized.
