They have cold beer & wine to go. Nothing super fancy in the cold section though. The wines, sherry etc on shelf are decent. I've found some eclectic bottles of liqueurs too. It's not a destination in and of itself, but they have a very convenient location. Nice enough staff. Small parking lot.

In a world full of super stores and liquor chains, Geisler's Liquor Store is a refreshing break…read more The store isn't huge but I think they make up for it in quality over quantity. I was really impressed by the selection of local Jersey wines, and think it's really great that they support the local economy. They had a good deal of Tomasello Winery wines. Perhaps almost half of what I recently saw at one of their tasting rooms. Way to represent! The wines overall ranged from under $10 a bottle to some nicer reserve stuff. They have my personal favorite The Starborough Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc has at a reasonable price so I was ecstatic. I'm a craft beer fan and while the selection wasn't huge in comparison to some of the area chains, the staple crafts were represented. The seasonality of the beers was totally on point. Pumpkin beer lovers rejoice! Evil Genius Trick or Treat and Traveler's Jack-O...yes, please! I thought it was really cool that they have a cooler of craft beer singles. You can sample one without committing to a six-pack. What really stood out to me though was the service. The associate took the time to walk me through the store and make sure I found everything I was looking for. With beer, wine and liquor available, I'm like a kid in a candy store in a Jersey liquor store so I appreciate her patience. I had a great experience at a local business, and found a great bottle of wine to BYOB for dinner with a friend.

I do love the proximity of this liquor store, and they do have a small but thoughtful wine selection... but it can't match my beloved Joe Canal's or the deals found at a Roger Wilco's. However, the staff is friendly & they are truly a locally owned business. The major draw...They have a wine chiller ALWAYS on if you want to buy a bottle of white off the shelf & drink it right away. 5 minutes for a cold bottle is no joke! Bonus points right there. If you live in the area, go check it out one day. I don't think you will be disappointed.

She seems as though she was trying to do a proper exchange, when I over heard the manager state 'This is the first and last time, because we ain't exchange sh*t during covid'. As I thought to myself that I understand his concerns I felt as though his verbiage was very vulgar, especially trying to run a business. Later on that day I decided to go on the Facebook page to express my concerns. And I've noticed the most disturbing thing that any businessman could say. ' take your ignorant as* back to where you came from' !!!!!! Wow wow wow !!!! We as a community help and fun businesses but in return we are spoken to in this manner know what exactly is that supposed to mean???? To me this is blatant disrespect and extremely unprofessional regardless of whatever the situation may have been. I will be boycott in J and D's discount liquors and not returning! I'm disgusted

Then I happened to be driving through town on a sunday night, around 8 pm when I noticed the OPEN sign in the window was lit. Wow, most liquor stores in the area close at 5 or 6 pm on sunday. Was headed home and wanted to pick up some beer so I quickly pulled over. Parking is as bad as you can expect since it is on Broad Street in the middle of town. Sunday night wasn't bad though, but it can be pretty bad during weekdays. Expect to park down the street a bit and walk. There is also parking behind the store if you don't mind navigating through the back streets of Woodbury. Prices here are very reasonable. Cheaper than most other local shops. Beer selection is diverse. I scored a 12 pack of Sam Adams Winter selections for under 15 bucks. While this part of town isn't exactly the ghetto, they also carry Four Locos and Olde English 800 for some of the local clientele. Fast and friendly service, I was in and out of there in 5 minutes.
