Our family experience with service and communication with GS Memorymaker has been sub-par. GS Memorymaker had come out to photograph the children that attend the daycare we have enrollment with. The day of, slips were provided for all children's parents to allow purchase of prints; except ours. We voiced our concern to the daycare, thinking maybe it was misplaced or grabbed by another parent but the staff attempted to contact Tony with sparse replies if at all. Days went by of us relying on the daycare staff to get a reply so I called Tony and left a voicemail with 3 ways to return contact to me; 2 phone numbers and an email. I received an email within the same evening instead of a callback, asking to describe the outfit and child. I explained the details in the return email and it sat stagnant after he stated he would review the raw photos and make sure it wasn't looked over. I then sent another email asking for a follow-up and essentially said that I would call again if I don't hear back within a couple days. He then replied that evening again saying that they didn't exist. I will say that he did offer a 50% off coupon for a future photography session at the daycare; this was very much appreciated. A couple days elapsed again and I talked to the director of the daycare and in reviewing camera footage, she witness our child being photographed, even in outfit that was described days earlier via email. I called Tony again as of the day of writing this review and surprise, no answer, inviting him to return contact and explain better what is going on. It is very concerning that a child is being photographed, not properly documented, and then they are claimed to not exist. I want a more substantial explanation of how the photos may not exist instead of hiding behind the potential of her not being photographed. She was photographed, witnessed by employees the day-of and on camera, after the fact. If they were hastily deleted rather than don't exist, I want to hear that instead of they don't exist when we have video evidence of it occurring. Poor communication, poor organization, potential lying. There are too many variables at play, and, involving a child. I hoped for the situation to be handled tactfully and more personable than it has. Think again before relying on GS Memorymaker Photography. read more
