Rather than replace the door to replace the door knob, I called Tick Tock who knew exactly what they were doing. They refurbished the mechanism, and they also replaced the dead bolt which was put in more than 30 years ago, incorrectly. They put in a better lock and installed it in a way that makes it more secure. It turned out so good that I had them come over and replace the back door lock. A lot of people had copies of keys to the house. Now I don't have to worry about it anymore with the new locks. This is a Five Star business.

The issues began right away with a missed installation appointment due to a part that had not arrived. They informed me late the night before, which was frustrating. While the salesperson assured me they could meet my needs, they fell short. I was initially told I could order additional fobs, but later, the sales manager explained, "The fobs will need to match the facility code and range of your current 10 fobs. Normally, to do that, we need to order 100 of them. We are looking for a workaround." Furthermore, the technician who installed the system did not do it properly, and my door wouldn't close. He advised me to hire a handyman to adjust the tension on my door. How can a business operate this way? The door should be functioning correctly after installation! It took about two weeks to resolve this issue. There have also been several problems with how the door system works with the PDK app--it simply doesn't function as the salesperson claimed it would. The most frustrating aspect of working with Per Mar is that no one wants to take responsibility for the issues. They pass me off to someone else without adequately explaining my situation or the problems I've encountered. Since this process began, I have communicated with about 15 different people, including managers, schedulers, technicians, salespeople, and other companies involved in installation and repairs. This experience has been absurd. Trying to get someone to call me back takes days, and then I have to start from scratch each time because very little information has been shared about the actual issues I am facing. If you are reading this review, you will be wise to go elsewhere. I am now stuck with a system that does not meet my needs and I fear what communication will be like moving forward.
