Great service and price. Was able to accommodate with short notice. Next time I need work done I will certainly be returning.

I am writing to share my recent experience with Goodyear, which has left me deeply disappointed…read morewith their service and warranty policies. In December 2025, I purchased a set of all-weather tires for my Honda Pilot and was very happy with them. Because of that positive experience, I bought a second set of the exact same all-weather tires for my daughter's Hyundai Sonata on March 30th 2026. Shortly after the purchase, my daughter noticed a bulge in the sidewall of one of the tires. I took the vehicle to an authorized Goodyear dealer to have it inspected. The dealer assessed the tire and denied the warranty coverage, claiming the bulge was caused by a pothole rather than a product defect. While any product can have a fault, they completely dismissed that possibility and attributed it entirely to road impact. Furthermore, the resolution process took close to a week, during which my daughter had to drive on a compromised tire while we waited for the official denial. To resolve the issue, they offered a "50% discount" off an MSRP of $480, bringing the total cost to $280 with services. However, I only paid around $280 per tire when I bought them brand new less than 60 days ago. Expecting a customer to shell out another $280 for a brand-new tire so shortly after buying a full set is not right. I am simply sharing the truth of what happened. I expected much better customer service and product backing from a brand like Goodyear.

I was in the neighbourhood and I've known about about this location for years, but never once ventured in as I thought it was strictly a transmission place. Decided as my regular Oak Ridges automotive shop was busy I'd pop in and see what they could do. Parked and went in, was greeted by the receptionist who went through package options and informed me the wait to be seen would be about 20 minutes. She was pretty close as I waited about 30 min before the car went in for service. I'll give them credit, once the car was brought in, the service was quite fast and I was out the door within a total time of about an hour or so. My one gripe was the price as taxes in it came to $40.61 after all disposal fees had been added. I can get the oil changed for the same price at Mr.Lube.... but then again, then I'd have to deal with Mr. Lube. Some additional pluses I liked about this place was that they didn't try to sell me anything extra like Mr. lube does consistently AND they offered free WiFi in their waiting room. Reading the other reviews, I was a bit nervous about what sort of condition my car would be in when I got it back. But from what I can see, all looks and works ok, so the 4 star review stands until further notice.

In the end, after a couple of years of giving them $1000s of $$$, we had enough. The last straw was them telling us they would take our car off us for $200, when they know how many thousands we put into it. We sold it for $1200 btw. Update: now years later, ran into someone who used to actually work at this location. He verified that behind the scenes a lot of 'skeezy' things went on. I'm not going to libel myself, so all I'm going to say is that after 30 years of driving experience, and places I've been to that fix cars, a '$19.99' oil change never pays for itself. Go to the dealer (hopefully they don't pick your pockets either), or go to a trusted friend to fix your vehicles. Thankfully I found a repair guy I trust across town.
