Some snacks are offered by donation ( for drive-in), traditional concession is closed. Restrooms are available. Bring your chairs and get comfy in from of your vehicle. Booking tickets online is easy, I was able to use ApplePay.

It was a short drive from northern Leon county, and so worth it. I used to work at Miracle in Tallahassee, and miss the old style no-frills theater experience. Zebulon had more frills than Miracle (cup holders, it was clean, nice bathrooms), but still the older theater type vibe. Don't miss out. This place is a gem.

If you want a retro, small-town, and affordable movie night, the Zebulon is the way to go!

When we arrived, the food machines were down -- which apparently isn't the first time this has happened. Their food and snack options are already limited, so this completely changed our plans. Because of that, I asked for a refund. The manager initially agreed and started processing it, but then was stopped by who I assume was the owner and told they could not issue the refund. Instead, I was offered a paper ticket pass, which was not the outcome I wanted since this situation was not my fault. On top of that, the theaters are consistently not very clean, which has been an ongoing issue. Overall, this was a frustrating experience, especially when taking small kids. Better communication, cleaner theaters, and honoring refunds when services aren't available would go a long way.

The landscaping outside is completely overgrown with weeds and grass giving the place an abandoned and neglected appearance even before you walk in. Inside, while the staff is friendly, the theaters themselves are often dirty. It is not uncommon to find popcorn, wrappers, and spilled drinks still on the seats and floors from previous showings. They clearly do not clean the theaters in between showings. CMX has the potential to be great, but they don't seem to wait to even try anymore.

The IMAX staff was wonderful; very accommodating. It has been quite a number of years since I last visited the IMAX Theater to catch a show. I didn't remember how cramped the seating was :o), though the seats themselves are comfortable. Once seated, best to stay seated until the show is over; otherwise, it will be quite a task to get out, especially if one is seated in the middle of the row and the row is completely filled. All in all though, aside from the tiny inconvenience regarding the lack of space between seat rows, I think everyone pretty much enjoyed the show and the setting. Note, the documentary is on Youtube as well! I also want to give a "shout out" to Mission BBQ for providing a complimentary meal for those attending the documentary. The food was delicious; the meal consisted of: coleslaw, baked beans with brisket, mac and cheese, sausage, pulled pork, brisket, cornbread, buns - along with tea (sweet and non-sweet), lemonade, and water! I've never been to a sold-out event here and, frankly, I often forget this is an option. That said, it's the best screen in the county - and if you're really looking for the larger-than-life experience, this screen yields a beautiful IMAX experience. It's no Warren Theaters IMAX - but then again - there's only one of those (in Wichita, not in NYC!).

I paid extra to see a movie in 3D (Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grog). So I left Theater 13 when I saw that the Super Mario Brothers was playing, and found a manager who quickly fixed it, hence the three stars over a one star. I didn't want to wait until the next showing which was much later, so he just said go to another theater inside the building. He was very apologetic. What the theater needs to do is have a list of which movies are playing in what theater so there is no mix up like this again.

I feel like if you live out here and are a movie theater goer, you're better off just investing in making your own home theater because this place ain't it. I hope they do better because this place has so much potential to actually be a nice place.
