The father,mother and there son were a real team that made their retail operation very successful . They had there share of problems just as I did . Of course time and our lives moved onward . Over the years they sadly passed away . Due to not being completely in touch with them ; I was informed of there passing by family members . This was about 25 years ago . Today was the day I finally followed through with my desire to visit their burial site . Not knowing where to start , I visited the cemetery office . This is where i met Chris and was completely assisted with directions to the correct section that I needed find . We spoke briefly and I could tell he was very knowledgeable with his line of work . He did mention (after asking him) that he has been a caretaker here for 26 years . I was happy to meet him ; He made my visit successful and memorable . If you need help on anything ; Chris is reliably the best to speak with !

The grass is dead, there's weeds growing, the corner has a big pile of dirt, you break the stuff around people's headstones, you throw flowers on the floor, the list goes on. There's literally an elder gentleman out here right now cutting the weeds around their loved one's headstone with little scissor tools. Is that the service you provide to people? Do you enjoy having loved ones out here slaving over their family's grave after spending an arm and a leg to just have them here? When you charge a MAINTENANCE FEE to even do that?! Unbelievable. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. If you're going to charge this much with a maintenance fee the least you could do is take the time to make it look nice out here for when loved ones come to visit. We should be visiting, not maintaining the graves when there's employees who could be doing their jobs. Do better.

This cemetery is the most beautiful, serene cemetery I have ever visited. If you drive too quickly…read moreon Baseline Avenue, you'll pass it; the town is that small. I am an avid visitor of cemeteries, and this one has the best vibe to it and is just so warm and peaceful. There is a trail around the cemetery where the locals can jog or walk their dogs. The cemetery is infrequently visited, so it's a good place to hang out (respectfully, of course), perhaps have lunch if you know someone buried here, or just spend the afternoon, like I did. Oak trees surround the perimeter, so it feels really closed in; it's a real sanctuary. The cemetery resident who attracts the most attention is, of course, Edie Sedgwick. She is buried in the old section of the cemetery, behind the office.
