This is one of worst and I do mean worst! Funeral home I have had to deal with. I lost my father and all we needed them to do is cremate him and give us his ashes!! We paid up front we ordered the urn and death certificates that everyone needs to prove your loved one has past! It should not take more than 5 day! To get death certificates! We also asked for 10 sm bags of ashes for his family. So we were told that he would be cremated with in 10 days!! Well we had been waiting for a phone call to let us know the day of his cremation and when the death certificates came in! We had to call them to find out the day before he was getting cremated! We asked about when we could pick them up because he was being buried out of town at the national cemetery! They never got back to us. I called the next day and asked when could we pick my father up ect! I had to leVe a message they never called me back I called again and when the lady answered she said we could be there at 4pm. When we were on our way I received a call stating they had good news and bad news! Great what's bad new our urn hadn't came in yet WTF!!! we ordered it 2 weeks ago! So we get there and he said well your urn came in but the forgot to leave out 10 pags of ashes for your family!!! WTF again so we ask what do we need to get them that's when he said he can take it from his urn and put them in a bag for you yes that would be nice!! Well I swear to you NEVER EVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I KNOWN ANY MORGE GIVE YOU ASHES IN A FREAKING SANDWICH BAG!!! We got a teaspoon full or so!!! In a SANDWICH BAGGIE!!! We had to ask about the death certificates because he was sending me out the door!! Oh yea those came in today too!!! REALLY!!! ITS ONLY BEEN 15 DAYS OR MORE!!! OH YES WE ASKED TO SEE OUR FATHER BEFORE WE LEFT THE MORTUARY THE MORNING WE WERE GOING OVER TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS BECAUSE WE HAD FAMILY MEMBERS SISTERS WHO LIVED OUT OF TOWN THAT DIDNT GET HERE IN TIME!! THEY WANTED TO CHARGE 500.00!! REALLY JUST SO WE CAN SEE HIM AND SAY OUR GOOD BYES!!! HIGHWAY ROBBERY!!! JUST FOR HIS DAUGHTERS TO SAY GOOD BYE!! BULLSHIT!! Today is my dads funeral services yet I'm unable to attend due to the toxic stench in their office building and the building for services. They have plug in air fresheners throughout. These are so toxic and cause me to be sick and laid up for several days. This is heartbreaking and frustrating since we asked at the initial meeting if their were plug ins in the building where services were held since I couldn't attend the meeting for arrangements due to plug ins in their office. We were told that there are none in the services building. Not true. read more
