This past year I have now gone to 4 different dentists. I have never had trouble finding a good dentist, but this has been a lesson in perseverance and tolerance, until now. As soon as you walk into Orcutt Hills Dental Studio there is just a really calming atmosphere. The front lobby is clean, sodas, and water are offered, and the front staff Jasmine and Angie were friendly, patient and helpful. They didn't act like I was disturbing their day by having the nerve to show up, which some dental staff do. Then Jackie, for anyone afraid of going to the dentist; Jackie is your Dental Assistant. She is so patient and gives you a moment to breathe and doesn't rush through it. Then Dr Omar comes in, this man did not have an agenda. He is down to earth and laughs, which adds to your comfort level. It wasn't just about money to him. He actually stayed cognizant about what I wanted at the same time being led by his goal of my health and welfare. He was so careful and patient. Also, he didn't have to go in my mouth very much because they have this new technology where they can just do a video around you as well as this little wand that gives an overview of the inside of your mouth. They actually invest in the patient by providing a clean professional environment, drinks, and equipment that makes the whole experience a lot easier on the patient. Ranessa explained the plan and the financial aspect and gave me this preprinted paper with pictures and let me take it with me, the last dentist scribbled it on a paper and wouldn't let me take it. She kindly explained everything If you're looking for a dentist, this is a hidden diamond in Santa Maria. I do feel sometimes unnecessary procedures are pushed on you. Unnecessary or planning to eliminate problems in the future. Either way, we're not all made of money and procedures are expensive.
