I had multiple bad experiences at Rooted Dental, and I must warn others to steer clear. I should have left when I noticed another patient leaving upset at the way these people treated her, that was a red flag I wished I hadn't ignored. The horrible experiences I had were not with the dentist or dental technicians, they are nice, it's been with the front desk person and Ashley the co-owner/manager. They are all sparkle when you don't bring up any concerns or mistakes they've made but when you try to advocate for yourself they get defensive and retaliatory. Here's the ugly truth: they have a revolving door of policies, changing them on a whim without proper notice for people to respond. They've made multiple scheduling and communication mistakes and refused to show ownership then deflect. The front desk woman and co-owner Ashley are hotbeds of unprofessionalism, lying, and blame-shifting. I can tolerate errors, but what I cannot stand is the refusal to acknowledge them, followed by blatant lying. Do not subject yourself to this nightmare. Find a dental practice where your concerns are heard and respected. Find a dentist who values patients, not just their wallets. read more

I love rooted dental. They are the perfect blend of holistic and western medicine. Still great with things like cavities etc, but also helping you find root causes for things. Helping you rebuild enamel and vitamin deficiencies etc. Truly whole body wellness focused. I was able to get a tongue tie and lip release as well with them which helped my pelvic floor issues significantly! (I know it sounds crazy, but facia is all connected and as soon as I got it released so many of my facia issues were gone). Ashley has been so wonderful with my oral myo therapy and overall super helpful. The whole team has been kind and attentive and understanding and flexible when needed. This was one of the worst dental experiences I've ever had. I left the office in tears and have been in constant pain ever since. I came in with a dislodged crown, fully prepared to pay for a new one if necessary. Dr. T told me to "save the money for now" and reattached the old crown, assuring me a new one was not necessary. However, he was unable to properly reattach the crown. Now they're claiming a new crown was recommended--completely rewriting the truth to avoid accountability. The reattached crown has been painful from day one. It has a gap I can't clean properly and continues to cause discomfort. When I went back for help, Dr. T dismissed my concerns, filed the crown down, and told me it was "just to get you not thinking about me." That statement alone speaks volumes--minimizing my pain and showing zero professionalism or care. I've repeatedly requested an itemized receipt and my X-rays. Still nothing. Patients deserve honesty, empathy, and competent care. Instead, I was ignored, misled, and left in pain. The only person who showed any basic human decency was the technician. I wouldn't trust this office to touch my teeth again. read more

As much as I really wanted to love this practice, unfortunately I can't say that I had a positive experience. I am currently experiencing massive immune/health issues, but also need to tend to my teeth in a responsible manner. This was all documented in my intake forms. However when I tried to advocate for myself, I was met with a hostile attitude and a lecture when I spoke up. I had two doctors contradict Dr. Tinoco's diagnosis, which riled his ego up so much that he violated my HIPAA rights. I am still trying to wrap my head around this whole experience. Beware if you're looking for a *truly* holistic experience, one where you are able to partner with a doctor according to your individual needs. I would not recommend this practice, despite how lovely the other folks in the office are. read more

I hated going to the dentist, so I neglected my teeth and gums for years. My wife talked me into going to her dentist, and I finally did. I had serious problems and Dr. Tinoco and Ashley were the greatest!! Very professional, yet friendly and concerned about the best care for me.
