We began working with them to fix some rattan dining room chairs. Not only did they beautifully fix our chairs, they updated the stain to better match the table. We then worked with them on fixing up old couches. We were able to update them to be more comfortable, stable and they were incredibly patient as we picked out new fabric. I didn't have anything refinished, but when I took a vintage trumpet case in to see if they could restore it, the staff was courteous, friendly, and seemed genuinely interested in seeing if they could help me. This would be a pain of a small job compared to what they normally do, but they did not act like it was beneath them. In the end, they could not really help me, but that is because what I was asking, as it turns out, is really not something they were equipped for and is fairly outside their wheelhouse as it turns out. They did explain what they COULD do and said they would be glad. (They could do some minor repairs, but I wanted a full restoration. I need to find a guy like Rick on 'American Restoration"). If I ever have furniture that needs restoration or reupholstered, this will be my place to go! read more

Amazed at the work they did for. Had an heirloom baby bassinet made of solid cherry by my father. It got shipped from CA to me in MI by my brother. UPS packed it poorly it suffered some very ugly structural damage in transit. Deep and complex fractures at all 4 corners. I as a wood worker myself was overwhelmed by the damage and knew I could not do a repair that did justice to the original piece. Did my homework, found Guaranteed, even did a phone interview because this piece meant so much to me and family. Gave them a shot. It came back to where if you didnt know it had been damaged, you would never know. I was HIGHLY impressed with the quality of the work. The refinishing work that I had done was high quality. I am pleased with the result. But, make sure you get a detailed quote and understand what exactly is included. I took in an old ice chest which required work to the door, the base, and the legs. I believed that all of the required work was included and would be done. I probably would not have had the work done if I knew that the repair to the legs was not included in the quote. But, they claimed that it was not, even though it referenced the legs on the receipt. So, in order to get the work done that was required and was expected, I had to pay more money. I'm not saying don't use their service, but be careful that all of the work is clearly called out before you agree to anything!!! read more

Wow- This treasure trove of talented artisans and professional intregrity and demeanor should be shared!! We had severe damage to 2 Ralph Lauren dining room tables. To make matters worse, they had been sprayed with a black sealant to further conceal the damage. As a last resort we contacted Guaranteed Services. Admittedly, we had little hope for a positive end result. Amazingly, we were presented with 2 "better-than-new" beautiful tables due to the talent and tenacity of the artisans. I will forever "sing-the-praises" of Guaranteed Services and their "talented-kind-white-glove" service. It is nice to know that 5 star high quality companies still exist. I took three wooden chairs to be re-glued to this business on March 20th. I was told the repair would take approximately four weeks. It wasn't done in four, five, six, or seven weeks. It took this company eight weeks to glue three chairs. My repeated calls did nothing to get the job done. I would never take a repair to them again, nor would I recommend them to anyone. read more
