I found him here on Yelp; his calm clarity and professionalism came through in the initial telephone conversation, I *think* I sent him description, dimensions and pictures in E-mail, but either way he made what seemed like a reasonable estimate at that point. I brought my table over, he was finished less than 2 weeks later (including a long holiday weekend), and it looks beautiful. He started on it not knowing for sure if the paint would strip off easily enough, but apparently no problem. He called to suggest a stain color (walnut), which I went with -- by this point I could tell that any recommendation he had would probably be ideal, but appreciated having the choice. He even put in a new bottom in the little drawer; *what* a nice touch -- along with proper felt-bottomed 'feet' on the table legs. I also saw some beautiful work in his shop, and would definitely hire him again.

Easy to browse the different rules in sections for vintage glassware, silver, furniture, and other upholstered and reupholstered items. Make sure you look up, there's a ton of artwork sprinkled throughout whole of the interior of the building. A younger man and an older man greeted me. They let you browse around on your own to discover whatever you're looking for. I was looking for some jewelry, but they had a bunch of older vintage watches as well as mostly costume jewelry. Still a nice and peaceful play to browse and walk-through.

Basically all…read morethey did was box things up, poorly, (such as bubble wrapping and boxing an empty milk crate, not laying things flat - so creases and such), made the insurance claim, stored the stuff while the floor was getting repaired, and brought it back. No unpacking, no cleaning of things they told me they would have cleaned, no communication. I don't understand why they (said they) inventory everything and took pictures so it would go back to the same place they got it from, if they aren't going to finish the job and unpack, and verifiy that nothing was damaged. Very very disappointed in my experience with this company. I am currently still unpacking things myself, and I'm an old man, so it takes me a very long time, but I needed my life / basement workbench back.

He gave…read moreme a more than reasonable quote with two options based on what he needed to do and was able to fix it in about 10 minutes and squeeze me in same day. He was also very nice and highly professional. He mostly focuses on small jobs, which is perfect for me considering other places I asked were backed up multiple weeks with larger jobs taking priority and giving me a much higher quote considering it was such a small job. We're definitely recommending go back if needed!
