Residents are provided with email addresses and contact information, yet messages often go unanswered for extended periods of time, if they receive a response at all. It is frustrating to have questions about your apartment, lease, maintenance, or billing and struggle to get clear answers from anyone. There also appears to be a high turnover of leasing and management staff. Just as residents become familiar with one person, they seem to leave, making it difficult to build continuity or know who is responsible for addressing concerns. In addition, residents are regularly faced with new fees, policy changes, and charges that were not major factors when deciding to move into the building. The advertised rent does not always reflect the actual cost of living here once various fees are added. The repeated fire alarm issues have also been disruptive. Frequent alarms create unnecessary stress for residents and raise concerns about how seriously alarms will be treated in the event of a real emergency. The building itself looks nice, but appearance alone does not make up for poor communication, inconsistent management, ongoing disruptions, and increasing costs. Based on my experience, I would not choose to live here again.
