We were traveling in our motor home in Madison Georgia when unexpectedly the diesel motor quit;…read morethank God I was able to coast into a rest stop, how often could that happen? We called our insurance agency for a tow and were recommend Maurice's Towing and Recycling. Maurice was the second lucky event of the day. Maurice didn't want to tow the motor home until he figured out what the problem was. He worked on it several hours but couldn't get the motor to run and decided to start again the next day. That night while sleeping I had a nightmare that I put regular gas in the tank at last fill up. At 2am I got up and went back to see if that was what I had done, yep that was it. In the morning I called Maurice and confessed to the gross error. In a couple of hours he and a couple of employees drained 100 gallons and put in 25 gallons of diesel, after a few tries it started and we were off and running. Maurice is a great guy who would not give up, nor would he take an easy way out by towing and dumping it on someone else.

After 4 tries I was able to talk to someone. They were very evasive and wouldn't tell us how much to get our car or exactly where the car had been taken. The car had been there for 11 days already and state law says they are to contact the lienholder via certified letter in a timely manner. At that time no letter had been sent. I was told on Tuesday they had sent out the certified letter on Monday. A full two weeks after they towed the car. They said they didn't know where to send it. All of our cars have a sticker with our phone number and business name on the rear of it. When I spoke with them on Friday to get information- once again they would tell me nothing but, claimed the customer had told them earlier in the day that she was sending a truck to get the car on Monday. Our customer said she didn't tell them that because she had not been able to reach anybody there except the person who transfers the incoming calls to the needed party.- were they trying to get 3 more days of storage fees? I told them to give me a call on Monday if she didn't come get the car and we would come get it. I got the call on Monday and was given a price but was told to make an offer and they would pass it on to see if the owner would accept it. but assured me it would be no more than $1225 through Wednesday. When I spoke with the same person on Wednesday I was told the notes say no less than $1000. The rep told me she has to verify that with the owner and for me to call her back in 30 minutes. I did, I was told he would accept no less than $1325. This tow company, in my opinion, is a dishonest poorly run business that takes advantage at every turn.

The absolute worst experience I've ever had with a so called business owner! Austin Brickman sold us this vehicle March 8th KNOWING that there was a hole in the block covered up with JB weld and REFUSES to take accountability and make things right! March 8th we paid someone to travel almost 10 hours away to pick up this truck as described to be a new engine, runs strong but smokes when running.. ok got it. Can we drive the truck back home with it 9 hours or does it need to be towed back? We was told it would be perfectly fine to drive back home! 2 hours later, the guys are on side of the road with what seems like something is on fire! They ran the wire harness between the turbo and the exhaust! Then not only find the wires on fire but a hole in the block of the engine that was supposed to be new! The hole was covered up with JB weld and after two hours of driving it finally gave out! We tried reaching the owner for several days and we have not heard a thing from him until days after he reversed the stop payment we had placed on the check! His defense is that we signed a "as is" form but in reality this is just some dirty work that he is continuing. He was selling this truck off of his personal account and I see why!! A child that took over his dad's business is running it into the ground! Reviews prove it and I wish I would have seen these before purchase! There is a lot more words I'd like to use but I'm going to try to remain as professional as I can! Austin finally called Justin back after several days went by on March 26th and talked and FINALLY realized his faults and agreed to make things right by just sending a block to replace what was messed up... A full week goes by and Austin is back to ignoring us without a simple text or a 5 second phone call! April 3rd Austin decides he will not talk on the phone like a man and sends my husband this sad text saying he is no longer settling anything that he bought the truck "as is"! What a ..... HAVE YET to receive the title that was suppose to be next day air to us and here we are almost a month later & NO TITLE! I hope his dad sees this and takes back over his business because his son is sure to run it in the ground! All he sees is $$$$! Doing wrong to people will not get you anywhere in life! We gave him a whole month to do the right thing but here we are! We have talked to several of his workers and manager and the only one that doesn't see any wrong in this is AUSTIN! Go figure! God don't sleep!!

I call the company they say there is nothing they can do and they dont understand why i was told by their company and by an officer that i can come get my vehicle next day, cost me 2 days of work!
