I hit a curb after a car, distracted me, and I swerved and hit the right wheels on both sides of the car, breaking one wheel and busting the tire in the back but I got it home as the front tire did not go flat, even though the rim was broken on the edge But it was flat this morning. I called Hensley automotive who's going to fix the wheels and tires then I decided it needed to be towed so Hensley recommended me to specialized and Taylor was here within 20 minutes picked up the car has already delivered it. When I called, the girl, who answered the phone was very professional, sharp, got my address and had him on the way within five minutes. I could not be more happy for the service. These guys provided and Taylor was the driver who I was just say thank you too. I've had cars towed before and waited hours and seen some of the negatives written in some of these reviews but I don't get it because these guys were professional friendly and got the job done. I have four cars and I drive 100,000 miles a year I highly recommend them.!!!! read more

Was referred by another tow company. Guy was rude to my office person, and when I called him was not helpful at all. These people are the rudest bunch of thieves. We had a haz-mat tractor and trailer towed by them per the request of DOT. Then when we needed them to tow it to our own shop and we're told they could not do that because they did not have a haz-mat license. Even though they towed it the day before. So after paying a ridiculous amount of money to these jerks we had to get another tow company to go get it and tow it to our place. Nothing wrong w/ our truck and it could have been driven off their lot by us but they told us no that it had an air leak. So long story short....they are a small business just like us and they are giving small businesses a really bad name. Do not recommend EVER using them. Very overpriced and will try and keep your vehicle on their yard as long as possible to make more money. Because the longer it sits on their yard the more it cost. Just like everybody else is saying. These folks are terrible people and just plain rude. I had a driver lose a U Joint which stopped him in the road. A cop called these folks out as we were waiting on the service truck since he was in the roadway. $650 for less than a quarter mile to the on ramp. He tried to take it to their yard but I would not let him or it would have been worse. Then he had no way to take a card over the phone so they are apparently more worried about ripping folks off rather than being prepared for the job. My wheel broke off of my truck on HWY 53 right off of I85. On top of this misfortune was the added cost ($170 + $20 per day) of the towing service that the officer required me to use. Specialized towing would not take one, and as a result (one which I do not think a coincidence) they gleaned an additional $60 off of me. They also tried to tack an "administrative charge" of $75 on top -- bringing the total to $389! It's a little unfair to require a cash only payment of someone who no longer has access to the means (the vehicle in question) by which they might accomplish such an in person transaction. Additionally, what if I hadn't been able to come up with cash, but had enough credit to pay? In such a situation, a poor person might be penalized a few hundred dollars while they gather the funds. And on top of all this, the guy I dealt with was very uncool. It's not like my truck was there for some crime I'd committed - no it was there for no fault of my own. My trailer broke on my tractor and trailer at Atlanta hwy... Barrow County Sheriff's deputy call them to my location to help get my truck off the road. Took about two hours to get my trailer chain up to be tow to there holding that was less then 10 miles away... After getting my truck and trailer to there yard they charge me $2900.00 to get my truck back... Why so high I ask? For them to come out is a 4 hour minimum at $650 an hour plus $300 for there support/rollback for being there for 2hr. at the rate of $150 an hour and it only took them 2hrs. to get the job done...The most I ever spent for help and a tow for my truck and trailer is $900... I strongly recommend THEM NOT to be your first choice in service.... They are WAY TO HIGH... smh $2900.00 read more

If I could give a negative review I would. My son was involved in an accident (not found at fault). We have never needed a tow so he used a local close company the fire department recommended. This one. Been dealing with other drivers insurance company waiting 3 weeks for an adjustment. I get a letter from Specialized towing saying by 30 days the car would be considered abandoned. I know that's the law. Here is where it goes wrong. While my husband is finally getting ahold of the adjuster, at same time, I call Specialized to let them know what was going on. I didn't want the car moved because we were waiting on the adjuster to go look at it. My husband finally got a quote and wanted to negotiate because he just installed some parts we either wanted money for or go get. The very next morning I call Specialized to go get a few personal items left in the car and I was informed the car was released to Safe Auto wrecked car yard they use. I never authorized them to release the car. This is nothing short of criminal. I have already called our county magistrate office. In regards to this matter. My brother had the car impounded, not important on why it is there, i called because its my parents car and i tried to find out how to get it out and the owner himself is rude and has no business skills what so ever.
