After calling our prior service company (and calling, and calling, and never getting action), I checked reviews and then called A to Z. They could either schedule a tech to come to us, and at a better rate vs the prior company, but if I wanted to bring the extinguisher to the A to Z shop, they could inspect and tag the extinguisher and it would only be $30 (!!!). This is Jan 2023, so rates can change over time, but yeah, I was super impressed. I popped to their shop, and in about 15 minutes everything was done. The Fire Marshall will be happy, and our HOA saves some money. The service was fast, easy, friendly, and great. AND (as another reviewer mentioned) A to Z will contact us each year a month or so before the inspection is needed. Excellent :)

DO NOT USE ADT!!! It's a complete rip-off! My brother has…read moredementia. Somehow he was sold a 2 year contract for a security system that does not work. When I attempted to cancel the contract, the cancellation fee was equal to the amount remaining on the full contract - over $500!!! To make matters worse, ADT had automatic withdrawal from my brother's account to the tune of $50.03 per month. When I called ADT to stop automatic withdrawals, I was told I could only stop the service portion of the payment, not the equipment portion. I authorized that. The next month, both withdrawals were made on my brother's account. I have been trying to call them to find out why the automatic withdrawal for the service fee is continuing but my calls go to voice mail and no one calls me back.

They sold us a service where if alarm gets triggered they will send someone to check on the house and they have not one time done that. Instead they will send an email to let you know that an alarm is triggered. I don't assume an email would help in a situation of someone breaking into my home. If you are willing to pay monthly for sensors that fall down randomly triggering alarms and for essentially just an email service of alarms being triggered and a system that makes noise then they are a great. They suck.
