I asked for a glass of water, she told me I could not have anything until I signed papers. Their main office is in Sherman. She was examined by Dr. Vattam. She is hard of hearing and has some dementia, but he was patient with her and very caring. I was so impressed with him because he figured out after viewing her MRI, that she has a severe pinched nerve in the upper 2-3 inches of her spine. We are still in the process of getting this taken care of because of the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, but we are working on it.

Then after sitting in a room for over an hour, having the IV ran in my hand, and hearing ALOT of chatter knowing something was going on being that I was in a waiting room right across from the nurses station, it took another 20 minutes for them to come in and say that they had bad news the anesthesiologist had an emergency but that was not the chatter that i heard in the nurses area. It seemed like they were not adequately staffed to handle procedures that day. When I called the receptionist later in the day to get my co-pay back she snickered at me, was so rude on the phone and finally transferred me to someone else. Wow! This location has been short staffed for MONTHS and so save yourself some additional pain and find another Pain Management Dr in Lake Texoma that will be more respectful to you as a patient that is going to them because your in Pain!
