When I woke up I told them I had no feeling or movement from the waist down. They said that was normal, but it should start easing up shortly. After 20 minutes laying there the nurse and the anesthesiologist had to lift me into my wheelchair. When it got close to 5pm, the staff told me it was time for them to leave. We tried, but I couldn't get into the truck. They told us to wait in the hallway and figure out how to get home. They just left me sitting there. No offers of help. When I did get home with difficulty, I sat in my wheelchair until 8pm because no feeling or movement had come back. I went into the hospital that night. The feeling didn't start to come back for 2 days. I couldn't get ahold of the doctor and neither could the hospital. They never even called to check on me.

Just left to deal with chronic severe pain and withdrawals; now no one will take his referral. Just bad business.

Their main office is in Sherman. She was examined by Dr. Vattam. She is hard of hearing and has some dementia, but he was patient with her and very caring. I was so impressed with him because he figured out after viewing her MRI, that she has a severe pinched nerve in the upper 2-3 inches of her spine. We are still in the process of getting this taken care of because of the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, but we are working on it.

Then after sitting in a room for over an hour, having the IV ran in my hand, and hearing ALOT of chatter knowing something was going on being that I was in a waiting room right across from the nurses station, it took another 20 minutes for them to come in and say that they had bad news the anesthesiologist had an emergency but that was not the chatter that i heard in the nurses area. It seemed like they were not adequately staffed to handle procedures that day. When I called the receptionist later in the day to get my co-pay back she snickered at me, was so rude on the phone and finally transferred me to someone else. Wow! This location has been short staffed for MONTHS and so save yourself some additional pain and find another Pain Management Dr in Lake Texoma that will be more respectful to you as a patient that is going to them because your in Pain!

It's 1:29pm, and I've been listening to these 2 loud AF bitties/patients non stop since 11:15. They have no library voice. We were both on edge upon arrival. And no amount of medication in the "WHOLE" state of Texas could calm my nerves. I even left and got gas, only to return to these 2 loud obnoxious females. They have discussed how their Dad spanked them as children. Welp Paw, I don't blame you, and it didn't work. No common courtesy. And the staff chimes in with these 2.
