This gift shop had a wife variety of things. There are plants and pots, clothing, candles, artwork, and so on. Lots of possibilities to find a gift for someone in your life. The shopkeep was welcoming and happy to help if I needed it. I'm not sure if the store is dog friendly to customer's dogs, but could be since the person working had their dog keeping them company.

She was able to give my friend fabric swatches for the custom curtains they make to match them to her crib bedding she has. We were informed that they can monogram and customize things on site and turn things around pretty quickly. Everything was priced pretty well. The custom crib bedding was especially priced well. My friend was bummed she didn't find out about this place sooner.

The first one I bought about seven years ago is still going strong, so I know their plants are healthy and well cared for. The owner was very kind, wrapping it carefully for transport, helping load it into the car, and offering helpful care tips. A wonderful experience all around.

Our $175 arrangement, plus delivery fees never made it to him. City Blooms stated they left it outside in a secure area. The intended recipient never received the flowers. Though it's not City Blooms fault, it wasn't mine either. There was no refund offered or issued. Not even for the delivery fee. When I spoke w/them about the non delivery, I was told it was outside of their delivery area to begin with. As if this somehow removed their responsibility to deliver the flowers. When I placed the order I was charged and paid for a delivery fee. They should have declined the delivery to the Hype Park / Bronzeville area on 33rd street, if delivering the flowers were an issue. I've purchased from them in the past with no problem. I won' t, however, use their services again...unless I'm going to them to pick up the flowers.
