I was in the Gucci Aspen store this past weekend. I was planning on purchasing these shoes, but the client advisor refused to release the shoes, but did tell me I could re-lace them. The laces were so off it was impossible to tie them. One side was about 11 inches and the other side was about three inches. Great shopping experience. Mae was my personalized shopping associate. She was incredibly helpful and made my experience at the Gucci store in Aspen a trip worth remembering. I will continue to do any Gucci shopping at this store because Mae was friendly, courteous, made sure I was comfortable, offered pellegrino, made sure everything I wanted was in my size, offered to ship my items and even gave me a hug as I was leaving. I have purchased shoes from this boutique before with Lila (I think that was her name) and I didn't have any problems. In fact the service was great. However, when I came in a few months later to browse for what I might want next, I was really peeved by the sales associate I had to deal with. She followed me around the whole time which is fine however, I found the endless chatter to be utterly annoying. She told me she was a dancer from Florida and that she hiked on her tippy toes?? She kept pushing me to purchase items that I was only looking at and emphasized that when products come through they may go away forever so I should just buy them today. When in fact I have purchased items from Gucci preCOVID times and they are still for sale on the shelves. Not the greatest sales tactic. I felt a lot of judgement based off of my clothing and shopping bags that I should be spending thousands of dollars in one sitting. Another sales associate offered to hold our bags and coat which was a nice gesture. Overall the store is beautiful. I went into the Gucci store with my boyfriend and was questioned why we were in Aspen only for a day. We were also followed throughout the store while looking at things and this was not because we asked for help but it appeared as if she thought that we were going to steal something in the store. Connor is absolutely fantastic! I fell in love with a yellow Gucci marmont bag but of course it was sold out in all stores and Connor was extremely diligent in hunting down one of the last two left. I had read the last review and decided I would conduct my purchase via the gucci.com website. I had waited, researched and fallen in love with the gucci bamboo shopper tote and was way to excited and impatient waiting the 4-5 days for my shopper tote to ship. The official shopper tote came in white, black, red, blue and a light tan. While I was waiting for my bag to arrive I spied ANOTHER gucci bag in a darker tan color, but it was called the textured leather shopper and this other color was gorgeous! I called gucci customer service to ask what the differences were between the two. She was NOT at all helpful after she told me I had to go into a store since she didn't have the bags in front of her :(... Wouldn't I have done that? I ended up calling the aspen location and spoke to the MOST HELPFUL gentleman by the name of Ron. Not only did he verify the bags were the same... He texted me pictures! Then when I explained my short stature and I asked how large the bag might be he actually waited for the following morning when his 5'2 co worker arrived and he sent me pics of her "modeling" the bag so I could get an idea of the bag size. That alone gets them 5 stars but since I never went into the store I thought I should only give 4. Ladies if you are looking to make a purchase and you are a fan of gucci, I highly encourage you to seek out Ron at the aspen store- you won't be disappointed! read more

Phenomenal service! I walked in and was greeted with such enthusiasm and a big smile to go along with it. I was offered help right away -- asked if I wanted something to drink and if I'm looking for anything in particular. They let me look and try on anything I wanted. I'm the type who doesn't want to make a purchase if the service is horrible, but they gave me an amazing experience, so I was even more convinced to buy something! When I visit Aspen in the near future, I will definitely return to buy more! I believe the two who helped me were the manager and other is Christiano. I left the Gucci store about an hour ago and I am still fuming. I've never been so offended. Me, my boyfriend and our couple friend stepped into the store and was greeted by a friendly sales associate. We went browsing around and the guys went upstairs. As they were walking up the stairs another lady working there was walking down. She took one look at them and immediately turned around and ran up the stairs after them. Following them around and eyeing them until they left and then followed them downstairs . Then she went downstairs and followed our g/f around and asked her "Are you ready? I can show you the alternate exit". Meanwhile I am browsing the front of the store, completely unaware of what else was going on. My boyfriend walked up and we were looking at a Gucci money clip and that same lady who has been following everyone else around immediately reached between my boyfriend and I trying to grab the money clip out of my hand saying "You would like that!?!!! Here! Give to me she can ring it up for you!" Shocked and appalled I was at a loss for words for I am shocked and confused as to what was going on? I put down the money clip and observed her following the other 3 people who came with me around. She was no more than 6 inches behind them breathing down their necks. Take a step forward when they did and a step back when they did. Not allowing one more inch of room between her and them. I was completely apalled and furious and at the moment I just wanted to get out of there! We left and I was still so angry and wanted to go back in and ask her what her problem was?! That who did she think she was to treat us like we were going to steal something?! She basically intentionally ran us out of the store as vulgarly and as quickly as she could! I spent the rest of the time walking around furious and unable to shop or enjoy my time b/c I was and am still angry. When we got back to our place I called the store to ask for the Manager. A nice gentleman name Matt picked up the phone. Come to find out, SHAFI, the RUDE and PUSHY and HIGHLY OFFENSIVE sales lady IS the manager. It was unfathomable how she got the position for I doubt she knows anything about common courtesy, customer service, or even decent human behavior. Please excuse the description that might sound harsh but in 30 years I have never ever experienced some offensive service, or rather DIS-SERVICE in my life. Perhaps we weren't decked out in GUCCI, CHANEL, LOUIS VUITTON, or was draped in mink. Or perhaps we didn't run into the shop shining in diamonds and with a personal assistant next to us. Or maybe it was that I was carrying a $2000 Balenciaga bag that wasn't extravagant enough for her for her to assume we are going to steal something?!!!? We spent about 7 whole minutes in there and the last 5 minutes of it was with SHAFI breathing down our necks doing everything she could to kick us out without having to kick us out. If you want the worst and fakest smile by the rudest sales person you will ever encounter in your life, please, by no means, step into this Gucci shop, I'm sure the SHAFI will be ready to make you angry for hours after stepping out of the shop. If you really have to pick something up from the Gucci Store up in ASPEN, CO, PLEASE ASK FOR MATT. He is polite and helpful. Otherwise I highly recommend you doing yourself a favor and order online. A one star was given only due to the fact that I can't give this place no stars, otherwise you bet I would. Headquarters will be hearing from us. read more

Lisa was very helpful. I was looking at wallets online and she said she could order anything and I could look at it in person. The business is run how every business should be run. I was able to compare wallets and I was very pleased with every associate I spoke with during the transaction. Every employee was very knowledgable about the products. I purchased a sale item over the phone from this boutique, I received the handbag bag about 4 days later. After receiving the bag it wasn't to my liking. I contacted my sales associate Lisa to let her know that I didn't like the bag and she told me I couldn't get a refund because Gucci boutiques has a new policy on sale item that you cannot get a refund. I explained to her that I was unaware of that and had I know that I would have gotten it online because it was available but because my husband and I have done so much business with her I figure i'd let her get the sale (sale items can be returned online within 10 days). She was very apologetic for not telling me about the new policy but she told me she had to speak to the General Manager to see what she could do. After speaking to the GM she was told sorry that's the store policy and i could keep a store credit with that store. She even knew I was unaware and still was not willing to help me out. It's Very Sad that she wants to keep her sales up for that location so bad that she would treat someone this way. How can you have a policy in a store without telling the customer, I would understand if I was in the store where I could read the policy but this was all over the phone....This is an unfortunate situation because I will NEVER shop at this boutique again and I will also be telling my friends and family not to shop there as well all because the General Manager. AGAIN Lisa is great but the general manager just makes the entire store look bad...... This really makes me want to not shop at Gucci all together.. Had the BEST time shopping Gucci Aspen! Daniella and Ashley were SUPER sweet AND they found my dream shoes. I know people like to complain about "snobby" service at upscale stores, but that is NOT always the truth. I was dressed ready for a hike the first day and they treated me the same as when I came the next day dressed up. And the selection of clothing is AMAZING!!!
