It was a pleasure to work with Sales Rep (Karan) who answered all of our questions and had lots of time for us. Then, there were the installers (Alec and Tim) who were extremely professional, skilled and polite. Outstanding. Finally, Project Manager Jim was also extremely knowledgeable and stayed with with us through the whole process. All in all, these 4 people really made our experience with Renewal by Andersen an outstanding one. Highly recommend

have received your offer and the contract and have reviewed them…read more After very careful deliberation, I feel that I am not comfortable with dealing and doing business with you Though price is a consideration, there are many other factors which led me me to take this considered decision There were so many red flags - some among them, twisting facts, attempts at disinformation, false accusations, high pressure selling, contradictions in the contacts, lack of protection for my deposit, lack of trust and belief in me as the customer This may not just you but maybe this is the corporate philosophy and culture, and business model of the company Site visits, sales call and marketing and advertising all are just tools of the sales proceeds, and a means to secure business, and NOT a favour to the customer that it has to be cited as a reason for the costs and pressure It is rather unfortunate, as I really wanted to do business with you thinking that I would be dealing with reliable professional, ethical company, which is customer centric, understanding and respectful of its customers I also received TOTALLY opposing reports and recommendations bout some windows from the two representatives. Does not provide any level of comfortin theprofessionalism and assessment! you MAY have good products but that is only a small Part of a business relationship. I hope this could be the trigger to review and revise your business model and ethics I wish you all the best to you and the company and hope that its customers get their money worth and respect that they deserve, as THEY are reason for your very existence of the company

Sambor has deceived, TRESPASSED and wrongfully diagnosed the cause of problem…read more I wasn't sure if the water stains around my Velux skylight was from condensation or due to a leak so I called Sambor as they are the ones that last shingled the roof (hired by the previous homeowners). Sambor's "senior" estimator determined it was leaking, and he stated multiple times that it was leaking due to poor installation of the shingles and exposed flashing. and said it should be covered under warranty. After he spoke with the owner and "customer service" manager, I was told they couldn't find any evidence of the work being completed by them, despite me giving them the receipt with the previous owner's name, and Sambor owner's signature saying it was paid in full. When they finally acknowledge they did do the work, they then claimed the skylight was installed after the roof, and not by them. They also told me the warranty was with the previous owner, not me and quoted me $800 plus the cost of flashing to fix it. After illegally trespassing, they offered to do it for half the price- to do me a "favour", and when I accepted - never heard from them again. I brought in 2 other roofers who quoted half this price however, I didn't realize I should have consulted with a certified Velux installer. When I brought one in, he was quickly able to confirm that the skylight was NOT leaking, it was condensation. That so called exposed flashing, is the saddle flashing, which is meat to be exposed with this Velux skylight He also explained that Velux doesn't sell to those who have not have received training from them. So there was actually no problem. Just as important, all 3 contractors confirmed that there's no way the skylight was installed after, which is what Sambor has claiming this whole time. A simple non-issue that should have taken less than 5 mins to figure out, turned it into 6-week long fiasco due to sheer incompetence on Sambor's part. They came to my house 4 times to "diagnose" this (always late and unprepared e.g. didn't have a ladder)- one of those times they ILLEGALLY TRESPASSED -went on my roof while I wasn't home without my permission or knowledge to take pictures to try to prove the skylight was installed after, which they still could not (this happened AFTER I hung up on them because they were rude and hostile - yelling at me), and then were dishonest about it -nor did they give me the pictures with date despite asking for them several times. Truly appalling behaviour. Use them at your risk.

When the technician got here he revised the quote because I had reported the four cranks were broken, whereas on some windows it was the lever mechanism. So the quote went to $1288. Reluctantly I agreed although some of the work actually looked simpler. When I reviewed the work, I found that one of the brackets was loose, and asked could he replace that bracket too. The brackets had been quoted at $25 bucks each. The technician went to the truck and returned to tell me he didn't have the bracket. I said no problem, come back when you have it. He told me "Well that's another visit so it will be $195. dollars to return. Now I was about to pay $1288. for two hours work and about fifty bucks worth of hardware, and now I had to pay another two hundred bucks for another service call because he doesn't have the right parts on the truck. A bit outrageous, all in all. I felt kind of gouged. I won't use this service again.

If you want to have your windows upgraded, but not replaced if there's things to be fixed around the window, they can do that and it's it's awesome because I cannot afford to buy all brand new windows so it was more or less cosmetic for a lot of the stuff I needed done.
