Food was amazing. We had Fajitas Mixtas and a taco combo plate and a couple HUGE ice-cold horchatas. Service was friendly, helpful and quick. Bright and colorful inside. (You wouldn't guess that from the outside.) Just driving through on a road trip so I may never pass that way again :( read more

Guera's was excellent! Staff were friendly. Chips and salsa were tastier than the usual fare. Fish tacos were cooked nicely and included delicious sauce with slaw. Tortillas were special. Would love to be a local to enjoy again, but sadly we're just passing through. read more

As unassuming as the location is in a ramshackle town, this might be the best chile verde (green chili pork stew) I've ever had, and I've tried quite a few. The pork is super tender, and the chili has a strong flavor without being excessively spicy. The tortillas were also fresh, flavorful, and tender, and the rice and beans were solid. read more

These are the best tacos I've ever had in my life. I'm not kidding. We were coming through from Indianapolis to Santa Fe, stopped at this little place and got carnitas tacos, carne asada tacos, al pastor tacos, rice, and beans. It's all AMAZINGGG. Everything is homemade, the chips and salsa were delicious. They even have a little self-serve toppings bar with limes, cilantro, onions, radishes, and 5 different salsas. A few of them were spicy but nothing crazy. On top of all that, everything is SO cheap, we were not used to those low prices!! Go here. You will not regret it, absolutely ignore the first review because that person is insane, but also I would still eat here even if they licked my tacos first lol. They have breakfast too! Great food service and reasonable prices. The pork green chili was some of the best and a huge portions. They make their own tortillas, and I ordered the corn but received the flour, which was still great. They have a nice salsa bar. My wife had a great beef burrito. MUCH better than the good in Santa Fe at a fraction of the price. read more

This is authentic Mexican food. I had the Baja fish tacos, delicious large pieces of white fish lightly battered on homemade corn tortillas. salsa is fresh and somewhat spicy but tasty. great place in a small town off the highway. read more

As of June 1, 2022, they are so new they don't even have their street sign out yet, but they were recommended by the lady at the hotel. This is not typical Tex-Mex. I ordered cheese enchiladas but got the ground beef enchiladas by mistake -- and I'm so glad I did. They were wonderful! The salsa that came with the chips was also very different. It had a mild smoky flavor that I really enjoyed. Don't let the name fool you. It is not just tacos. Portions were generous, and the prices were very good. Quality was excellent. read more

The chips we're freshly fried and really crispy, we ordered the cheese enchiladas, chicken chimichanga, and 3 taco's. The quantity was good and they had a nice assortment of toppings to choose from at the salsa bar. They we're all so delicious and definitely recommend to others.
