Food truck with amazing food. We stop on our way through Clayton and get fantastic burgers for ourselves and hamburger patties for our pups. Went to si senior taco for a quick dinner after checking into our hotel. I had the pork burrito and my husband had a chorizo breakfast burrito. My burrito is just the right size for me. My husband's was a little bit too small. What really made them taste good was the salsa they were served with. Without it, they would've been bland. Did the outdoor eating area was clean. We pulled in here on our way through town and OMG it was worth the stop! It is a trailer on the side of the road and to be candid it does not scream stop here and eat. However, stop here and eat! We ordered the beef tacos, rice and beans, chips and salsa and Hot Damn, it was good, I mean really good! I am looking forward to our trip back to Austin so we can stop here again type good! Their prices are fare, they have close up parking and they are right off highway 87. If you're in the area and need to eat, stop here! If you are coming through Clayton do yourself a favor and stop at Si Señor tacos. We got one beef handheld burrito with everything on it one Asada burrito with everything on it and one breakfast burrito with sausage and cheese they were all phenomenal. There might be a little weight maybe 5 to 7 minutes but everything is made fresh. I liked the ground beef the best. Good green salsa. Could be hotter but this is NM. read more

While looking for a quick bite on a long road trip we found Sí Señor in Clayton, NM. I ordered two breakfast burritos with green chilies and fresh jalapenos. There was short wait, but it was worth it! Hot, fresh and tasty breakfast burritos served with a delicious salsa. Even the tortillas were superb. Zero stars! I had the chorizo torta with fries and they were just terrible. The worst torta I have ever had, no good flavor or seasoning, very blad, overly salty, tried to cover the lack of flavor with salt and failed, very poorly constructed, poor presentation and easily forgettable. Just don't do it! I warn you. I mean you would have thought because this is a little taco stand in a middle of a cute little town in New Mexico so it should be legit due to the way it's looks, but you will be so wrong. Im pretty certain they 're mainly getting their customers from cars traveling on highway through town hence the quality of food was so horrendous but I guess they don't care much about the quality of their food since they are most likely won't be seeing their customers again. The place definitely does not look hygienic and the Price for a plate of fajitas was almost $10 for a quality of $4 if I have to rate it. No seasoning in the meat what so ever, beans and rice tasted like they were cooked in a microwave actually the whole plate tasted like it was cooked in a microwave by a middle school kid. Stop here! My husband and I traveled from our home in Austin, Texas to Santa Fe, New Mexico. then to Denver, Colorado. We stopped here on the way home from Denver. I got the burrito with asada. He got the burrito with roast beef. So delicious! The bean, cheese, sour cream ratio was perfect for the amount of meat (A LOT). The salsa was a little spicy and very fresh tasting. This is a great little food truck in downtown clayton that serves up some tasty mexican food. I had a couple of the hand held burritos (they were quite large), probably should have gone with one, since they were big (3.50 each). Service was pretty fast. Seemed like lots of locals were at this place, which is a good sign. The woman in the truck will bring you your food in your vehicle if you want. This unassuming taco truck, located across the street from the Toot and Totem gas station, was an excellent road trip lunch choice. Friendly service, delicious food. We stopped during a snow storm, so we made our order at the window and waited in our car while they prepared our food, then they called our name over the intercom when it was ready.
