Quick greet and seat - quick chips and salsa - majority of chips slightly overcooked - salsa was a medium/hot flavor (not sure if intent or if it was at the end of shelf life cycle "hot") definitely good flavor with onions and cilantro. Ordered combination #14 - 2 basic ground beef tacos - "soft corn" and beans and rice - when ordered made sure to say soft corn at least 3 times - plate came out with soft flour - kitchen replaced with corn within 2-3 minutes. Generous portions - beef was little on bland side - refried beans little bland too but food was hot. The rice nice and moist with little more flavor and decent amount of vegetables, also was hot. They serve Pepsi Products so tried Sweet Tea with lemon which was perfect in flavor and sweetness and a decent size lemon slice. Will definitely return to try couple other menu items since it has very extensive menu.

All experiences since they opened have been positive. We consider their salsa the freshest in the area; you can actually taste the cilantro & other ingredients. Same for their guacamole; outstanding by comparison to others around. Today we tried the Lunch Chicken Fajitas and the Seafood Burrito (fish, shrimp, & scallops in flour tortilla wrap, smothered in red sauce). Service was attentive and prompt. Flavors were distinctive and delicious (next time I might ask if the Seafood Burrito can be smothered instead in Queso Blanco). When they put up a larger sign at the street it may become less of a "hidden" treasure, but still worth a wait if necessary.

Food was amazing and so was the service. Best Mexican food in the Moody/Leeds area in my opinion. 10/10 recommend.

This has been one of my go-to food trucks for the past few years if I am craving Mexican food. The…read morevibe is very causal and laid-back since it is a food truck. They have their menu plastered on the side of the truck which includes things like burritos, tacos, sopes, tortas, etc. I ended up ordering two brisket tacos supremos ($4 a piece), which have tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, and sour cream. They come with two small containers of salsa (one is spicy and the other is mild). I also ordered esquites ($6.50), which is corn in a cup with mayonnaise, cotija cheese, tajin, Valentina, and lime. The people who take your order are always very nice and quick. I waited about 6 minutes for my food to come out, and they call you over when it's ready. The food was all hot and so fresh. The brisket in the tacos was very flavorful and cooked well, and the esquites were tangy and juicy. They give you great portion sizes for the price and quality in my opinion. I have never had a bad experience here, and would recommend it to anyone needing a quick bite to eat.

Where do I begin?…read more First of all, the restaurant is very colorfully decorated, which instantly brightens the mood. We were able to seat ourselves, and immediately afterwards the waitress brought complimentary salsa and chips as she took our drink and food order. The salsa and chips were very good. The chips were crisp and freshly made and the salsa had just the right amount of kick to it. It was sweet and unique and I could see myself ordering it as a to-go order. For our entrees, I ordered 3 street tacos and cheese dip. My guy ordered the steak fajita plate. After a short wait, our food arrived, hot and fresh off the grill. I wasn't a fan of the pollo taco. It was bland and lacked any type of flavor. However, the campechano and chorizo versions were much better. The cheese dip stayed watered down even after it cooled but had a good flavor to it. I looked up to see my guy reaching for the salt shaker several times. I tasted a small serving of his steak. Yall..,.I kid you not. That steak had no type of seasoning-no salt, no pepper, no nothing had been sprinkled on it. To sum it up...it was overcooked and under seasoned. He kept trying to doctor the dish up by adding salt and pepper but after a while stopped because that should've been done in the cooking of the dish. He only ate a 1/3 of his dish. Upon paying the check, he attempted to share his disappointment with the waitress, who now all of a sudden, doesn't understand English. Keep in mind, we had been communicating with her just fine throughout our time there. Needless to say, we will not be returning to the restaurant location anytime soon. I've visited the truck before and will return there.
