Spending a lot of time in hotels this one smelled like cleaner but did not give me the feeling of being clean. they do miss the point that they are in the hospitality business because everyone seems to be in a bad mood or just not friendly. The second back to normal sausages and biscuits with gravy. Pancake machine, cereal some fresh fruit. Folded egg things toast, etc. Cool coffee machine that my wife liked. Overall it a nice place to stay with friendly staff that is clean and well maintained considering the amount of construction workers who stay here.

I found Bonnie Dwaine through Yelp, and I am so glad that we chose to stay here! From the moment we arrived, the house was perfect for our stay. Our room was on the third floor, and was renovated with a king sized bed. The bed was extremely comfy, the space was large, and we had our own bathroom as well. We chose this space for the king bed, but although it was very nice it was missing the vintage/historic feel of the other rooms located on the second floor. This room was HUGE, and would be great for a family. If we stay again, I would love to spend time in one of the other rooms, they were all so beautiful and historic. Bonnie was a fantastic host. She was so kind, friendly, and extremely thoughtful. She had a lovely home, and took great pride in making her guests feel welcome and comfortable. The breakfast that was served was fantastic, and she even made us breakfast for the morning that we slept in, and had it sitting out for us with a note when we were finally able to make it downstairs to the dining room. 5 stars for the bed and breakfast, 5 stars for friendly Bonnie, and 5 stars for the location! Amazing Mexican restaurant nearby, and the Moundsville museum is free to guests - located minutes from B&B.

This is almost the only place to stay on the south end of Moundsville. So when I got off work up…read morehere & heard about the storm coming in, I decided I needed a place for the night. This place was convenient on such short notice and the extremely courteous staff make your stay pleasant. There is WiFi available, so don't forget to ask the staff about that! The only downsides to the stay are the limited availability of rooms due to long term residence by oil & gas workers in the area, the faint "smoky" smell, and the age/wear of the facility. But even though the place is in need of long overdue remodel, it's not dirty at all. So if you don't mind furniture from 1972, it's a bearable place for the price.
